Austin's P.O.V.

"So why do you keep blaming yourself for me falling?" She asked. She looked at me and I sighed. "Because, you are younger than m-" she interupted me. "Woah woah woah. I'm only a year younger than you." She said kind of yelling. "I know but I still have to take care of you. And if I was watching you then you wouldn't have fallen." I said "FIRST OF ALL I DONT NEED ANYONE TO FUCKING TAKE CARE OF ME THANK YOU! AND SECOND OF ALL YOU WERE BUSY PUTTING UP THE TENTS! I DONT CARE IF YOU WERE WATCHING ME OR NOT IM THE ONE WHO CLIMBED THE TREE AND THE ONE WHO FELL OUT!" She screamed and started running back. "ALLISON WAIT! Your gonna hurt yourself running!" I screamed running after her.

Allison's P.O.V.

"ALLISON WAIT! Your gonna hurt yourself running!" he screamed running after me. God! I just want him to leave me alone. It's not like he's my dad and it's not like we are dating. It's ok to care about me, but this much?

"Ahhh!" I screamed. I fell down and landed on my arm and ankle. Seriously? haven't I done enough to hurt myself? Austin saw me fall down and started running towards me. As soon as he got to me I was sitting up crying. "Allison! are you ok?" He said with a shaky voice. "Just leave me alone. Ok? go back to the tents I know how to get back!" I shouted while crying. He got up and started walking back. He turned around and stopped.

"I'm not just gonna leave you crying there!" he shouted. "Yes you are! you walked five feet away from me and you can't go five seconds without worrying about me, can you?" I cried. "Fine! if you want me to leave then I'll go but all I'm trying to do is make up for being gone for a year!" he screamed and walked off.

I'm more mad at myself than I am hurt. This actually gave me time to cry all I wanted. Even though Austin is frustrating me, he was right. He has been gone for a year and all I've done since he got back is yell at him.

I cried for ten minutes straight then I got up and walked back to the tents. When I got back it was 8:12. I went into the tent and Austin wasn't there. I checked mom and Michelle's tent and they were still sleeping. I checked the car and there was a note on the dashboard. It said; "Ali I'm sorry! Don't worry I'm fine and down by the lake, but I don't think you care anymore. ~Austin"

Wait there isn't a lake near here! I thought to myself. Just then I got a jolt of energy and started running, following his footprints. You can tell he was walking because they weren't splashed everywhere. I've been running for ten minutes non-stop and that's impossible for me. But I guess I'm really worried. Then I started hearing a different noise underneath my feet. I looked down and it was a huge wooden bridge. I looked up and I see Austin in the middle of it sitting on the edge. I stopped. He didn't look like he was gonna jump. He had his head in his hands and his elbows on his knees.

Was he crying? Did I make him upset? I don't know I'm kind of crying.

Just then he looked up and took a deep breathe then looked at the waterfall in front of him. I started running again, and he kept looking at the waterfall. "AUSTIN! AUSTIN STOP!" I screamed. He looked at me breaking his stare and then hopped back onto the bridge and ran towards me. I ran into his arms and he picked me up. "I am so sorry Austin. I should appreciate you caring about me and it's my fault!" I said.
