Chapter 10

Austin's P.O.V.

"I'm gonna go bring the clock here so we don't have to keep getting up to check it." Allison said getting up. "Ok, careful, don't let the bears eat you!" I yelled joking around. She rolled her eyes and kept on walking. I heard a car door open and a few seconds later it closed.

She ran back over to me and say down quickly. "Austin! Austin! Austin! it's 11:10! one more minute!" she screamed. Then I quickly thought if what I was gonna wish for. I couldn't think if anything. Everything is already perfect. Wait, I never told Allison what I was going to tell her. I really hope she doesn't get mad. I'll tell her later. "11:11 make a wish!" she shouted. "Why? Everything is already perfect." I said grinning. She looked at me and I started to sing. "It's 11:11 make a wish, make a wish and say, 11:11 make a wish, make a wish and say, 11:11 make a wish, make a wish and say, I hope you come true." I sang. She looked in my eyes and smiled. Her eyes were hazel but had a little more green to them. They were beautiful. "Yeah 1 2 3 4, soon as you walk through the door. Counting 5 6 7 8 9, one million thoughts quick hit my mind. Have you been running, where have you been lately? Ohh you know it drives me crazy." She started to sing along. "You know I miss your kiss

You can move like that, I can move like this Girl you know it's time to make a wish Make a wish girl...." Then I stopped and she kept going. She was really into it. She looked at me embarrassed and blushed.

"Why did you stop?" I said smiling. "Why did you stop?" she asked. "Because it's 11:12." I replied laughing. She playfully smacked my arm. It kind of hurt. "What was that for?" I asked. "It was for making me sing!" she replied angrily. "Well if it makes any difference your not that bad." I said. I smiled and looked at her and she just say there pouting. She made a puppy dog mad face and it was cute. Our friendship means more to me than anything that's why I have to tell her sometime soon.

"That's what everybody says but I suck! Apparently, everyone who has heard me is deaf." She said pouting. She cracked up laughing 5 seconds after she said that. I laughed to. After we were done laughing she looked at me. We were staring into eachothers eyes, then she leaned towards me. She stopped herself and kissed me on the cheek. "You missed." I said. She looked at me confused. "What?" she said. "You missed!" I said again then leaned in and kissed her. It was a few minutes then we stopped to breath. She looked at me and stared.

"Did we jus-" I interupted her. "I think we di-" I started to say then she interupted me. "We just kissed!" she said. The way she said it sounded, she sounded shocked.

"Austin, I think I like you." she said. I was surprised. "Wait, what?" I practically shouted. "I'm sorry I should go to bed." She said getting up. "No, I'm sorry! I shouldn't have kissed you and I should have told you this earlier." I said disappointed in myself. "Told me what? Austin, is this something ba-" she said but I interupted her. "No, well yes, kind of. I'm leaving again." I said regretting it. She looked away and then started to walk. She was headed in the direction of the fallen tree so I think she needs sometime alone.

I sat down infront of the fire with my head in my hands. I felt like crying, so I did. I can't beleive I'm crying. Yes people think guys don't cry, but that's not the situation. She means a lot to me and I'm pretty sure I ruined a great moment. It's my fault.

~10 minutes later~

Should I go check up on her? Yah I will. I thought to myself. I got up and started to walk towards the fallen tree. It's ink like 2 minutes away from the campsite. When I got there she wasn't there. Then I realized that this was in the way to the bridge too. Fuck. I started running for my life. She means too much to me to lose her. I really hope she's thinking, not jumping.

I ran for 10 minutes straight, and when I got to the bridge I was just on time.
