Allison's P.O.V.
We are halfway there with really awkward silence. It's weird because Michelle and My mom stopped talking. They aren't mad at eachother, I guess there isn't a lot to talk about. Well Austin and I had small talk but we never really had a conversation.
"So who's gonna put up the tents?" I asked hoping it wasn't me. "You and Austin are putting up your tent, and me and Michelle are gonna rent a cabin." My mom said jokingly. "So that means we aren't putting up your tent, you guys are." I said implying that I wasn't putting up their tent. "Exactly! we only need you guys to carry everything into the cabin!" Michelle said giggling. "You know there aren't Cabins in the woods right?" I said trying to be realistic. "Yeah, sadly." my mom said.
"Do you like bonfires?" Austin asked. "Well if I didn't I wouldn't be on this trip." I said laughing. "Yah, I can't wait till we get there, it's so boring not doing anything in the car!" he said with a slow tone. "Well we are more than halfway there, so it's not gonna be five hours anymore." I said. " Yah well it's only gonna be 10 minutes because we lied to you when halfway came so it didn't seem so long after!" Michelle said. "YAY!!!" Austin and I said in unison.
After 5 minutes have passed I took out the bag of food and started eating. My mom and Michelle looked at me weird, but Austin knew that I loved food since I was a kid so he just said "Nothing has changed with you, personality wise." he said laughing. "What is that supposed to mean?" I said laughing. "You still eat the same as when you were a kid. It hasn't changed." Austin said laughing again. " Yeah it has, I can eat more now! Don't ask how because we all know the answer." I said
"People grow!" Austin and I said in Unison.
After the conversation was done we were there.
As soon as we got there I started unpacking the car. First was the tents and Austin put them up while I was unpacking the car. After I was done unpacking, I started to watch Austin put up the tents. It was really funny, because they were big and he had a really hard time with them.
"Are you just gonna sit there and laugh or help me?" Austin said. "Is it ok if I watch? I'm not too into tents!" I said with a smirk on my face.
