Frank POV
As I walk out of school my phone buzzes.
Suse⭕️-come over?
Frnk👏🏻-sure thing. Where were you today?
Suse⭕️-sick.
Frnk👏🏻-oh ok.see you soon.

I turn of my phone and slip it into my pocket. I begin to make my way to Suse's house. I'm counting on Gerard not being there. I mean teachers stay later right?

When I get up to the door I ring the doorbell. I hear Suse says something from inside but I can't understand what it is. Then I hear her say,"Gerard where are you going?" Oh God he's home. Do you think it would be weird if I left before she opens the door?

Before I can think of what to do the door opens. My eyes meet a slightly disgrunted gerard. Soon enough my eyes meet his and I can't help but feel terrible.

I want run to him and hug him,tell him I'm sorry and beg for his forgiveness. But I see something in his face. He look mad. He Huffs and stomps away. Moments later I hear a door slam.

"What the flying fuck was that Gerard?" Suse shouts. No reply. " I'm sorry. Did something happen at school today?" Suse asks looking at me.

"Um at school. Well like what do you mean by something. " I say not knowing what to say.

" I mean something that doesn't normally happen, frank" Suse says giving a kind of 'uh duh' face. " Something not normal? No uh everything was normal. Completely normal. " I say awkwardly waving my hand.

"Uh ok then. Do you wanna come inside?" Suse says shaking her head slightly. " Yeah sure." I say stepping inside and being led to the couch.

Once we are at the couch Suse asks," did you even see Gerard today? Because he left early, and we have him last period. " "Uh,no I didn't." I say looking away. "is he okay? I mean he looked like he had a rough day. Did he say why, or like what happened?" I ask. I wanted to know how much what I said affected Gerard. I was really hoping that wasn't the reason he came home.

"Well when he came home I didn't know it was him,so I got a flashlight and threatened him." Suse says with a little laugh gesturing to the shiny, black flashlight on the coffee table in front of us.

"Then he told me I got him sick, so he came home. But then when he looked up from the pillow he was hiding his face in, his face was all red and he eye were all big and looked like bug bites." Suse says looking slightly disgusted. "Then what did he say?" I asked quickly. "Well not much. He just started balling again." Suse says shrugging. "did he tell you why he was so upset?" I ask praying he did and it wasn't what I think it was.

"No, he kinda just wiggled around what was wrong." "Oh." I say realizing I'm the worst person ever.

Just then I hear a jingling of a keys and rushed footsteps. "Gerard where are you going?" Suse says standing up. "home" Gerard mutters under his breathe in a raspy voice. "your apartment?" Suse asks,but Gerard had already gone out the door.

Suddenly I feel a ping of guilt in my stomach and jump up from the couch. I ran out the door as fast as I can trying to catch Gerard before he gets in his car, leaving a very flustered and confused Suse inside.

"Gerard wait!" I yell. He keeps walking. I catch up to him,grab his wrist and twirl him around to look at me. " I'm sorry." I say tears beginning to form in my eyes. "just let go off me." Gerard says looking away. "but I need you to listen, I need you to know I didn't mean it. I was just..." "You were just what huh. I was trying to help you and you scream at me. " Gerard says cutting me off. "look I know your mad but you need to understand I didn't mean it." I say through tears. "you know you were right. All I am to you is your friend's brother and and all you are to me is my sisters friend." Gerard says. " What" I say in a sqeeky voice. "what do you mean what?" Gerard says sounding annoyed. "I mean that I care and I thought you did to." I say with anger letting go of him and starting to make me way inside.
