"Why does she think I'm taehyung?" Jungkook spoke his thoughts out.
Now he and nancy was heading back toward children's ward to meet the kids and then go to their rooms and it was getting dark outside.
"She can't see jungkook, it's been three years she loose her sight. What name you use for her?" Nancy asked moving his wheelchair from behind.
"Grandma..." Jungkook frowned.
"Exactly. Taehyung used to call her that and awake her same way you did. Everything remind her of taehyung. Most nurses here are female and it doesn't matter if we call her grandma, she hasn't saw someone young nearly one his grandson age in years. She misunderstood" nancy explained making jungkook more confused.
"But...okay but why that taehyung guy stopped coming.You know?" jungkook looked backwards with expected eyes.
"He....got into an accident" nancy eyes got teary "he was going out of this hospital after meeting her. A truck ran over him".
Jungkook heart dropped on this. He was so wrong about assuming taehyung as asshole, who too busy as teenager.
"You... didn't tell her" jungkook wishpered eyes lost looking no where.
"We couldn't.That'll ruin her spirit, she's already too old.We all didn't had the heart too". Nancy replied arriving infront of children ward opening doors seeing no one. They hadn't arrived back yet.
"How can she still hope" jungkook asked while nancy took few toys off the floor and put them in boxes.
"You see jungkook, world is running because of hope" nancy pop on carpet beside him "You've seen farmers? While putting the seed they didn't know if the plant will even grown up, it'll get sunlight, rain and other things but they still try and hope. Similarly children they do imposible task everyday in hope that they'll succeed. If there's no hope there's no world.Life is too short spend being sad, why not be hopeful and happy? We can try and hope, it's free of cost right" nancy chuckled with pained eyes.
" it's being ten years she last saw him but not even a second she lost hope. Mrs kim hoped and we didn't ruin her hope and look she found you. You see the light in her eyes right. Now she can smile remembering she met his grandson. We all hoped from start that she will be happy once again". nancy replied till the door bust open and kids run towards nancy attacking her with hugs, saying they miss her.
Hope jungkook thought. He smiled remember the smiled she gave him. Hope huh, I like to try that jungkook thought staring at nancy and smiling kids.
