Chapter 1.1 The Game

Im finally back!

"This feeling.. I missed it"

I ran my way through the city

Its really packed today.

Oh yeah! I forgot. Today was the release of the other 10'000 copies of the game

As I went through the city I saw a friend of mine. So I shoted his name

"Cloude!!!!" then he looked at my direction and went to me

"Oh Raven.. I thought you would be late again" Cloude said to me

"Hehe.. That only happens sometimes" I said while scratching my head

"So lets continue the plan.. Lets go to the field before the newbies get there before us." He's right. We need to go there fast

"Yeah! Good thing we're already experienced" then we went to the fields

We were one of the lucky 1,000 that were given the game and became beta testers

Now we know more than those 10,000 newbies of the game

"Hey Raven. I have a bad feeling" Cloude suddenly said to me

"What kind of feeling??"

"I dont know. I just feel that something wrong will happen"

"Your just imagining it" Me calming him down

"Yeah. Maybe your right" Then we continue going to the field

//Fast Forward

"Hyiaah!!" I plunged my sword to the wild wolf infront of me

In the game we only use swords or other weapons.. There was no Magic or mystical powers.. Except for two things

It was the «Sword Skill»

They are attacks that are far stronger that a normal slash. Some are combos with 2hits, 3hits..

And the other one was «Elemental Magic»

It can only be achieved if one has accomplished a certain quest or achieved a certain level. But some items have elemental abilities of their own

"Wwoooh!! And thats the last one.. Man im tired! How long have we been here?" I asked Cloude

"Uhmm. Its been 2 hours.. And now its 5pm in the real world"

"What!!" I shouted

"Man. Im screwed. I need to log out. See ya tomorrow Cloude. Same time??" then I looked at Cloude

"Yeah sure. Don't have any plans tomorrow anyways" He said while smiling so widely

"You never have plans. Haha!" I said to make fun of him

"Screw you! Fine. Bye now." Then he waved me goodbye

"Hehe yeah. Bye" Then I opened the menu then scrolled to the Log Out button. But something was wrong

"Hey Cloude. There's no Log Out button" I exclaimed to him without looking away at the menu

"Huh?! Your just not looking hard enough" He was puzzuled then he opened his Menu

"Look! Its just right he---" He suddenly stopped talking while looking at the menu

"Your right. It really isnt there" He finally agreed to me

"Maybe its only some kind of bug. Its the release of the game so maybe thats why theres no Log Out button" my reasoning to him

"Thats possible. But shouldnt there be a debuging warning to be showed?"

"That may be.. Lets asked the GM about it"

"I already did. But he isnt answering"

Then I tried calling the GM myself. But just like what Cloude said, he really isnt answering

"What the heck is happening here?!!" Cloude exclaimed in confusion

Suddenly a blue light coverd me and Cloude

I looked around and I saw Cloude right beside me

"It seems we've been force teleported to the Town Square" me answering Cloude's question

"What the heck! Why the hell are we in here!" Somebody in the back shouted

"Yeah!! We were in the middle of hunting in the field" Another one shouted at the opposite side

"Im getting out of here" Then they tried going out

"The heck?!! Why cant we get out!!" They begun slamming an invisible barrier

Then the whole sky started turning red and a man wearing a huge cloak appeared before us

"Hello Everyone" His voice was deep and cold

"My name is Kayaba Akihiko. The creator of Sword Art Online and the console called NerveGear
