AMBER GROGGILY opened her eyes, she was in a large cold cell. She tried lifting her hand up to rub her eyes but a strong force seemed to stop her from doing so. She glanced down at her hands in panic, they were chained together in front of her, the chains attached to the concrete floor. She groaned in frustration, her head was pounding, most likely from the injury she'd sustained.

The girl rested her head against the cool wall with her eyes closed. She bit her lip trying to ease the rush of thoughts infiltrating her mind. So many people thinking so many thoughts.

Amber flinched when she heard the metal door beep and swung open, revealing Captain America, Black Widow and Tony Stark. The trio walked in, closing the door behind them. The girls attitude changed significantly when Tony walked in. Amber was furious, she was enraged that the man who'd taken away everything she'd loved was breathing the same air as her.

"Amber Maximoff, age thirteen, born in Sokovia, rescued from your collapsed apartment at age seven. Am I correct?" Black Widow asked crouching down looking her directly in the eyes.

"Maybe." She replied bluntly, her heavy accent bleeding through. Her answer caused the redhead in front of her to raise a brow.

"Your name is Amber Maximoff, age thirteen, born in Sokovia, rescued from your collapsed apartment at age seven. Am I correct?" Natasha repeated, her tone more venomous than last time but the girl stayed silent.

"Your two siblings volunteered you three for experimentation when you were eleven. You were given powers?" Black Widow continued while the girl glared at the floor.

"What are your powers?" Tony questioned curiously, raising an eyebrow as he peered at the girl.

"Why do I have to tell you," Amber spat bitterly, breaking the silence. "You're the reason this is all happening. It's all your fault." Tony seemed to be a bit taken aback by the girls answer and he went to open his mouth when Captain America interrupted.

"Tony, mind leaving the room?" Captain America asked the man, glancing at the dejected looking girl.

Tony scoffed loudly and exited the room, Captain America turned back to her, "I'm Steve and that's Natasha, we don't want to hurt you, you can trust us" he said crouching beside Black Widow.

"I can't trust anyone, that's how you're killed" Amber muttered monotonously. Of course, this was the truth- To trust is to die.

"Please, the quicker you tell us the faster you'll be out of here" Steve reasoned, placing a comforting hand on her knee. Amber moved away from his touch and Steve was quick to remove his hand.

"I'm fast...I can hear people's thoughts and move things with my mind" Amber sighed looking down, "They're my powers",

"So you're like your brother and sister" Natasha queried, connecting two and two together.

"Not in all aspects, I'm not as fast as Pietro but I still have super speed, and I'm definitely not as powerful as Wanda, yet I am still quite good." Amber spoke, her eyebrows scrunching together.

"Why are you covered in scars?" Natasha asked slowly, looking at the girls bare arms which were flaked with small lines.

"Because Hydra doesn't forgive easily" She replied, looking down at the scars in her arms. If only they knew what her real scars looked like.

Natasha glanced at Steve, he cleared his throat loudly, "Why did you volunteer?" He questioned.

"I didn't, my siblings volunteered themselves long with me for experimentation. I didn't want to, but their vision was clouded by revenge" Amber sighed loudly, Steve and Natasha exchanges a small look, happy that they were getting information from the girl.

"Revenge on who?"

"Tony Stark" she replied bitterly, "The man who started the fight that we could never fight back"
