It was unnaturally silent. I was having a fight with my self thinking I should probably say something then my brother Lane spoke, thank God!
"Roxy do you think I'll ever find my mate?" my brother asked me abruptly.
"I mean I'm 21 I should have found her by now and become alpha but without a Luna I can't"
"I'm sure you'll find her soon enough good things come to those who wait" I replied feeling sorry for my brother. I know how he feels, I have stayed pure and been very good and I just wanted to have a man that loved me for me. Not because we are destined to be.
"Okay sis" he said with a hint of sadness in his deep voice
"It's all going to be okay"
I was now speeding down a dirt road and didn't even realize it. I let off the gas and my car started to slow down. Thank god I did because just then a county sheriff passed by me. My heart started to pick up. I was internally freaking out. Stupid anxiety! I decided to take back roads just incase. I looked over to Ash she'd been unusually quiet.
"Ash is something wrong?"
"No" She responded flatly.
That was unusual. I came to a stop sign and came to a complete stop. I looked at Ash she looked back at me with alert eyes but tried to hide them behind a smile.
"Are you sure you alright?" I put my foot on the gas again, I could see town from here and got excited.
"Yes, I just have a bad feeling"
"That's not good" Lane grunted.
"No it's not, but it's probably just nothing" Usually when she had a feeling of something it usually was something but she seemed unsure this time.
I then my self became aware that it felt as if someone or something was watching me. The hairs on my whole body stood straight up. I cracked my window to see if it had a sent. I sniffed the air with my powerful nose and caught the most seductive most ever whelming and amazing, sent I've ever smelt. It smelled of a forest but not from around here, like a pine forest, around here all we had was giant oak and pecan trees. I was worried some one had trespassed into our land. But I just brushed it off knowing my father would take care of it.Cheyenne woke up and became restless she then settle for my lap, as her little body lay the I pet her fur driving with one hand. We finally made is to town it was now 2:23 and I had to stop at a stop light. I looked around for a vet clinic. I then spotted one on my left I drove to the next stop light and put on my blinker and turned into the clinic. I parked my car and I turned around to see my brother Dalton asleep and Lane elbowing him to wake up. He woke up groggily.
I turned of my car and Cheyenne woke up and stretched on me. I then opened the door to my car and Cheyenne jumped out. I half expected her to run off but she just waited for me so I guess I can trust her I led her to the grass on the side where a sign read "please clean up after you dog" and it had poopie bags to clean up the mess. Thankfully she just had to pee.
"come on baby let's going inside" she followed me but was hesitant at the door so I picked her up and I walked inside. I walked up to a lady at the front desk she had one some floral scrubs, glasses and blonde hair that was tightly pinned up. She then asked
"How may I help you?'
"I would like to get my puppy examined and all her shots she needs please"
"Sure just fill out this form, would you like to become a member of you clinic so you can get discounts"
"Sure" I said. She handed me the forms on a clipboard and I went and sat down. She began typing on her computer. I placed Cheyenne down on the chair next to me and stated filling out the form. Then Lane, Dalton and Ash came in. I smiled at them and the lady at the desk looked up from her computer at them.
