I woke up still having my eyes shut I tried to move but was held down by a force, I heard the sound of two men arguing over something probably not important. I was scared to open my eyes in fear of what I'd see. But curiosity got the best of me and I opened my eyes I looked down to see what was around my wrist and ankles to find chains coated in silver. Silver doesn't necessarily kill if it touches us but if it enters our blood stream it is fatal and it does burn the skin but not much. I struggled against the chains not caring how much it hurt. I heard footsteps and looked up to see two men walking my way.
"Look who's awake good morning sleeping beauty" Said a man in a gruff voice that sent chills down my spine I was trying not to show any weakness.
"LEAVE HER ALONE OR ILL RIP YOUR THROAT OUT!" Kris growled at them scaring me. With Beta blood running through him any wolf would be scared so why weren't these wolves.
'Dad please help me I'm in trouble I've been capture by someone higher than Beta.'
'I'm going to assemble the pack where are you?'
"I don't know but its scaring me'
'Don't show them you're scared, you're of Alpha blood try to shift'
'I can't I'm bound in silver chains'
"Did you hear me child?"
"No I don't speak idiot" I spat out earning myself a slap in the face.
"You will not talk to me in such a way she-wolf"
"I'm just as strong as you and maybe even more you obviously don't know who you messing with"
"I know exactly who I'm messing with and I can handle the consequences what I can't handle is my daughter being hurt by a whore like you" He growled I could see his wolf surfacing but the guy next to him that kept looking sympathetically at me grabbed him.
"Father I understand that she rejected her mate maybe she could be Luna she's worthy enough is she not the daughter of Alpha Oliver she would be great it's just such a waste and if she doesn't want to then you can do whatever you want to her don't you think that would be better?"
"I'll think about it" He said. I wouldn't mind being a Luna just not a Luna of a pack that's not mine but if it save my pack from going at war and saving Kris's life ill do it.
"As if she wouldn't do that unless it benefits her pack" He said and just like that I made up my mind
"Ill do it I don't mind"
'What are you doing you can't do that he's not you mate'Kris half yells through our mind link
'I know but if it stops our pack from fighting then I'll do it will also save us from getting killed'
'You aren't being forced'
'Like I said I don't mind and I don't have a mate anymore' I said numbly.
"Good to hear well present you as his mate the day after tomorrow"
"Okay"
The younger one that saved my life came to me and unlocked my chains. I was free but if I played it cool and didn't shift the probability up of Kris and I living was greater. He grabbed my hand and walked me out of the building. I was greeted by sunlight and wanted nothing more than to run for it.
'Roxanne why won't you answer me' My fathers' voice rang though my head.
'Sorry I was busy everything is fine something well have to discus in person'
"What are you doing?" Asked the man
"Huh?"
"You look like your thinking very hard" He said now that we were in the sunlight I saw that he had blond short hair styled in a Fohawk with blue eyes and full lip and a straight nose but had a scar on his arm.
