Roxanne's Pov
Kris met up with me in my drive way with his 2016 blacked out Chevy 1500 crew cab loaded down with all his things.
"Where are we going because I'm dying to leave"
"I can't tell you yet Kris" I said and just to get a rise out of Jason I kissed Kris right on the lips and just as I expected he growled.
When I pulled away Kris had a dumb smile on his face grinning straight at Jason.
"Oh shut up"
I then went on my way to go inside to go get Cheyenne but was stopped by Jason once again.
"Roxanne I'm sorry I love you please don't leave me."
"If you love me so much then follow me if not ill know why so goodbye Jason."
"Please." he asked.
"No now get out of my way before my wolf attacks you she's more mad than me."
He kept holding on to me, which was annoying me and my wolf.
"Don't go I'm begging you"
"Yeah just like the dog you are!" I shouted and pushed away from him.
"Cheyenne come on baby girl" I yelled. She came in not wagging her tail she looked sad but I picked her up and kissed her and cuddled her up next me.
"Come on Roxanne the longer you stay the more you're not going to want to leave" Kris yelled from his truck.
"Bye Jason, I'm sorry I ever trusted you." I said while passing him and went to my car and set Cheyenne in the passenger seat.
I then started my car and sped out of my drive way and made my way to the air port.
When I finally got to the airport my stomach started churning, I did miss my mate, my heart did hurt
and I do feel bad for what I did but you know you don't just do that and assume your mate doesn't exists and then get someone else pregnant and expect your mate to come to you with open arms. Maybe some would but me no I will not subject myself to such hurt.
I drove into the twenty-four hour parking and Kris was right behind me. I parked my car and turned it off. I then opened my door to be greeted by cool air even though its August Oklahoma just doesn't stop changing it will be hot one day and cold the next Im going to miss this place with all the trees and festivals we have a lot and fairs I don't want to leave but I guess I have to I didn't notice Kris standing in front of me until he pinched my arm.
"Hey!" I shrieked
"You wouldn't snap out of it" Kris said innocently
"Rudeness" I snapped
"Come on now what's wrong Roxy?"
"Nothing I cant fix with a little vacation" I smiled
He looked at me upset
"Kris if you want to go back then you can I don't need you here I can handle myself and you know it "
"I can't let Alpha down sorry "
"I'm your alpha now" I giggled
"Oh yeah right maybe if I tickle you to death you might think twice about you knowing how to handle yourself"
"You wouldn't dare"
"Oh but I would Roxy" He said and started closing in on me so I ran for it I hid behind a car he was coming close but ran into something and fell I was about to get up when a pair of hands and a white cloth came up to my mouth I held my breath instinctively but something hit me in the gut and I gasped for air and when I inhaled I was met with dizziness and fell into unconsciousness.
