You're worthless
You're just a beta
You don't mean anything
Alpha's don't want a beta
You shouldn't be here
Ugly
Worthless

He shot up out of bed, heart pounding, breathing heavy. He couldn't tell if he was having a panic attack or not. He just knew he couldn't breath.

Those words, those awful words, had been plauging his mind since he presented. He hadn't been able to sleep in days cause the dreams of getting tossed aside by the people he loved was too much.

They had never said those words to him. They gave him all the love he needed and more. It meant so much to him, but the dreams said otherwise.

Maybe they were right though. He was just a beta. What could he do for his pack? He didn't have heats, he didn't have ruts, he didnt really have anything going for him. The only thing he could really do is produce some slick that helped the alphas when they needed someone. But that didn't mean anything to him. It wasn't like he was an omega that could satisfy an alphas cravings.

And more annoying than that was he was more needy than any beta he's ever heard of. Normally only omegas are needy and clingy, it's in their nature, but betas. Oh no, they shouldn't be like that.

But he was.

A bright light stopped his thoughts raising his panic. "Yugi, are you alright? You haven't come out all day." The blonde looked up at the doorway, eyes wide and glassing over. BamBam stood against the door frame, arms crossed over his chest. The other 97 liner had gotten more mature these days and it fit with this title.

"A-Alpha." Yugyeom's voice cracked as he spoke. He didn't want it too. He didn't want the older to worry about him. He didn't want any of them to worry.

"Oh Yugi." The red head rushed to the younger's side, climbing onto the bed and pulling the boy into his lap. It was kinda awkward as Yugyeom was bigger than BamBam, but the older knew he needed this close contact. "Is it the dreams again?"

He didn't want to admit it, but he couldn't lie to his boyfriend. It was wrong. He nodded slowly. "Awe, Yugi. You know we'd never say those things about you. And whoever told you them is wrong."  Yugyeom felt tears slip over the corners of his eyes, body shaking with sobs.

He knew all of this. He knew that all six of his boyfriends loved him with everything they had, but it still didn't settle his mind. That ever since he was 18 people had been calling him every dirty thing in the book and there was no way he could fight back.

"Do you still not believe it? Want me to prove that their wrong?" BamBam didn't give the blonde much room to disagree as he began to assault his neck with kisses, pressing hard over his scent gland and the many mated marks he had. Yugyeom groaned softly, feeling the pheromones being released by his alpha.

Betas stink
There is no smell like an omega

"W-wait!" He gasped out, pulling away from the older. He pulled his knees to his chest, sobbing into his arms. He still couldn't believe BamBam or any of the others would want him when he didn't smell sweet like Mark or Jinyoung.

His beta genes made his frangance dim and insignificant. There wasn't much of a smell. He was taught that's what brought mates together. That's why Jaebum liked Jinyoung so much. The brunette smelt of strawberries and mint, it was a calming scent that reminded everyone of home.

Even Youngjae, although a beta, smelt earthy. No one could tell if it was just because he spent so much time outside or his body wash, but it was still nice to have.

Yugyeom didn't have a smell. At least that's what he had been told. "Baby, what happened?" The younger sniffled, looking up at the red head.

"You smell so good. B-but-" BamBam cut him off with a quick kiss. The older shook his head, resting his forehead against Yugyeom's.

"Yugi, if you're worried about your scent, don't be. It's perfect. It may be faint but I smell it. Lemons and rosemary. My favorite scent." The blonde rubbed his face with the sleeves of his sweater (which belonged to Mark) and snuggled into BamBam.

"Really?" He asked softly. He was scared that the older didn't mean any of what he was saying. He had way to many insecurities to believe the words that his boyfriends had been saying since they meet him.

"Of course baby. Would I ever lie to you?" Yugyeom shook his head slowly. He knew they wouldn't. It was wrong. "Now, how about we take a nap and then we can see if Jinyoung will make your favorite for dinner. Does that sound good?" Yugyeom nodded, eyes already drifting closed.
