Yugyeom woke up clingy.

He wasn't usually like that. Wasn't supposed to be in fact.

Beta's were supposed to sit on the sidelines and take care of things quietly. They weren't supposed to whine and want all the attention. They weren't supposed to want to cuddle up to their alphas as much as an omega.

At least that's what he had been told.

But today he wanted to be babied. He wanted to cuddle up with his alpha. He wanted to be treated like he wasn't just some beta.

He wanted attention.

Slowly but surely he made his way to Jaebum's room. He could've went to any one of his alphas but for some reason he really wanted Jaebum.

Just something about his pheromones made him needy and calm at the same time. He really shouldn't be able to smell the others but he was kinda special.

He had a faint smell, he produced some slick, and he could smell the others pretty strongly. He was surprised he wasn't an omega, but biology had a different plan for him.

He almost let out a whine at the sight in front of him.

Jinyoung was cuddled up close to Jaebum, sucking into his neck and leaving marks. The older looked up from where he was pressing soft kisses onto Jinyoung's forehead to see who had entered his room.

"Oh hey Gyeomie. Did you need something?" Yugyeom stared at the pair. They always seemed to blend together so perfectly. It almost upset him.

He didn't have that with anyone. Sure his pack was amazing and they always made sure he fit in, they never left him out, they loved and cared for him. But he didn't look as good with them like they did with each other.

He quickly shook his head. "N-no, I-" He choked on his words when Jinyoung looked up at him, eyes staring deeply into his own as if he was looking straight through the younger. The brunette sighed, releasing his mate and rolling off the bed.

"Go. I'll come back to check on you two later." Jinyoung smirked, walking past Yugyeom. "You know, you still release some pheromones even as a beta sweetheart."

Yugyeom blushed, red tinting the tips of his ear and his nose. Jinyoung didn't have to say that. He didn't even have to mention anything as he left.

"What's the matter love?" Jaebum asked softly, sitting up in bed. Yugyeom slowly made his way to the bed, crawling under the covers and snuggling close to the older.

"Just wanted you." He mumbled. The ravenette smiled slightly, rolling over to wrap his arms tightly around the younger.

"Awe my big baby." Yugyeom whined at the comment. He liked being treated like a baby but he definitely didn't like being called one.

"Not a baby." He whispered, face pressing close to Jaebum's scent gland. He was glad that he was able to smell it, unlike other betas like Youngjae. The older couldn't smell scents directly, they were faint and as described by the red head scents were muted as if they were underwater.

"But you're my baby. How have you been lately love. The others keep telling me that you've been hard on yourself." He knew the older would ask about it. He had always cared so much about others, no wonder he was the pack alpha.

"M'kay. Just wanna cuddle with alpha." He squished closer to Jaebum. He had never called the ravenette by his second gender. He rarely called any of the others by it either, only in times of extreme pleasure.

"Hm." The older didn't press further, knowing that things were still not okay, but he he didn't want to scare off the beta. "I love my baby beta."

Yugyeom wanted to complain that he wasn't a baby once again, but he was content being warmed by his alpha and his scent. "I love you."
