There was only an hour left in the 24 hour Alpha ban, but Jaebum felt as if the time was passing even slower. He hadn't stopped pacing since Youngjae told him to stand down.
The younger had planted himself in front of Jackson's door, unwilling to move even for the slightest of necessities. Youngjae barley even went to the bathroom, he was that serious about protecting their new Omega.
"Baby, please stop that." Jinyoung had been trying to coax him into settling down, but to no avail. This happened everytime a heat or rut arose, he would pace until he was able to make sure his pack mates were alright.
It was just in his nature.
"Needs me." Jaebum mumbled. He couldn't focus on anything but Yugyeom. The small Beta, who for some unknown reason was now presenting as an Omega, three years after his supposed presentation date. He must be so confused and terrified. He needed to see him.
"Jinyoung's right, Beom-ah. Once the first heat pain breaks, he'll want the pack Alpha. You'll be able to take care of him soon." Jaebum knew they were right, but his mind, his instincts were telling him different.
It physically hurt to be away from his Omega in need.
"Hyung." Youngjae's voice broke through the noise of the others, instantly silencing them. Everyone knew who he was talking too, and Jaebum quickly rushed to the door.
"Is- " A whine ripped through the apartment and Yugyeom's scent spiked heavily.
"Alpha!" Jaebum pushed past Youngjae, knocking him completely over.
"Ow! Hyung!" The blonde whimpered, but Jaebum ignored him. He had more important business to attend too.
Yugyeom needed him.
