A/N: Hello again! I do know that I do have enough time before school begins again, so I have decided to make one thing official: I will be posting one chapter every day normally during the evening (Around 7:00 PM ET). And if I'm feeling even more driven, you might expect two chapters in one day! Thank you all for reading this story <3.

Midoriya opened his eyes to find himself in the bus, and shook his head from the erupting thoughts practically pouring into his mind. His head was spinning, and every breath was about the one dream he had. The library felt like a newfound haven after his last dream at Greenwich. He pushed several curly locks out of his hair before quietly scanning the bus environment. It was incredibly silent. Even Bakugo, who was typically the noisy gruff, was fast asleep. The only other person awake would be...
Midoriya made eye contact with two heterochromia colored irises. They stared right back at him, but the green haired male did not fail to feel slight comfort radiating off it. That was Todoroki, of course. He and the red and white haired boy were the only two awake. Midoriya swallowed, feeling the heat rise up to his neck, his hair on end. Was it just him or was Todoroki drilling his eyes into his soul? He shook his head to rid the image off his mind, then got up, stabilizing himself over the floor of the large vehicle, his feet shaking due to the bumps the large vehicle. He made his way over to Todoroki, and plopped in the empty space beside him.

"Todoroki!" he said cheerfully, giving the boy a toothy grin. Todoroki cast Midoriya a sideways glance and was surprised to see that he had chosen to sit by him. Though the green haired boy did not notice that his friend did not even try to acknowledge him, he went on through his usual conversations that he could discuss with anyone else whom he chose, but plucked a Todoroki from the crowd. "...And there's so much stuff you haven't seen in the city!" Midoriya ended on an optimistic tone, which almost set off a note in Todoroki's heart. The red and white haired boy took in a deep breath, and let it out after a few seconds. No, he must not let his mind race. Keep calm, keep calm, keep calm, he thought over and over, the thoughts passing through him like a speeding train. Keep calm, keep calm, keep calm...

"Todoroki-kun, how about you come over to my house tonight?" Midoriya uttered, tilting his head sideways, gazing at the boy. Breaking away from his thoughts, Todoroki turned to face the slightly smaller male. Staring into those deep green pools made the boy's heart flutter, and he almost couldn't resist the offer. The blood was pounding through his head, and he felt momentarily dizzy. Luckily, the feeling dove away as Midoriya averted his gaze downwards.

"I can't."

Midoriya felt quite down, hearing those two words. Why couldn't he? It would have been a great chance to have his mother meet him, and it was a good place for the two to have a good time without being heavily surrounded by others their age. More specifically, the U.A. students. Midoriya let out a small shudder just thinking of the students caging around him and Todoroki. And he couldn't bear to see Urarka's expression if she'd realize where his position was in her life. "B-but Todoroki...why not?" Midoriya was quite sullen looking, and it pained Todoroki's heart just to see it happen. But what would he say to the old man? He wouldn't accept of it. "I can't because of Endeavor," he replied, his mouth bitter as he spat out the words with distaste. "He wouldn't let me." Again, he looked away, not wanting to see the saddened face on Midoriya. The one person he'd hate to see look so dejected. Midoriya looked up, his mouth open. Why hadn't he considered that? "I-I'm sorry, I was a fool to not think of your problems," he said, hanging his head, humiliation coursing through his emotions. Yet the other boy didn't give up. "Midoriya, if there is any sort of way I could come over, to get away from my old man, will you tell me?" Though it was quite hopeless, and there was absolutely no way he could escape Enji's grasp on him, he didn't want to let the green haired boy down. Suddenly, he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"You could lie to him," Midoriya suggested, cocking his head once more. Why and how this boy got that idea did not matter. What mattered was that doing so was dangerous, but he could slip away from his father's watchful eyes for a night or two.

Todoroki turned to face Midoriya, and for once, his lips were curled upward in a smile. It looked a bit malicious, as if he were doing over the top scheming. Midoriya was quite startled and taken aback by his sudden demeanor, but grinned, knowing what he desired.

"Explain more," the red and white haired boy insisted.
