Dunkin' Donuts

Shadow's pov

I woke up to the harsh noise of a raspy old voice screaming wake up, and the feeling of freezing cold water being poured on my face. A wonderful way to start the day. There's no other thing to compare it to really, choking on freezing cold water, and having your whole body drenched because you decided to sleep commando, because why the fuck not, and now you're paying the consequences. But well oh well, I've got magic so I can easily reverse the process. How do you like that, Universe? But alas, the Universe is a salty bitch and wouldn't you know the water poured back on me the instant I revered it.

"Fine then, I guess I'm getting out of bed because SALTY fucking Mr Universe, doesn't want me to BLOODY SLEEP!" I swore.

Before I had the chance to stand up two people appeared, with a poof of grey smoke, at the foot of my bed. The one to the left stared at me with Blue eyes and freckles; she had a small frame and long fiery ginger hair which somehow made her look even smaller. She was wearing a cropped yellow sweatshirt with the milk duds logo slanted across the front and black high waisted leggings paired with red converses. This ensemble was finished off with a black leather Mini Mouse rucksack swung over her right arm.

On the right of her was another female with dark skin and big brown eyes, her hair styled into long box braids. She was taller than the ginger making her once again, look smaller than she was. The girl was dressed in a red bandeau top and long flowy black tape trousers that were only buttoned up twice leaving a big thigh slit on either side of the pants. This was finished off with a pair of white vans paired with ankle socks of the same colour. My two best friends, Elyse and Maddison.

S "ARE You TryiNg TO Give mE a BLoody heART ATTAck?! yOu do KnOW tHERE Is a DoOR."

M "Good morning to you to, I presume you have forgotten."

S "FORGOTTEN WHAT?!" I shouted, still pissed tf off from my wonderful start to day.

M "The first day of school?"

S "OH My fucKInG DasE ! , ok Shadow breath in, and out. How much time till school starts ?"

S "20 minutes "

(Imagine it being hella silent with like crickets chirping)

E "Hey Maddison her eye is twitchi--"

S "FUCKKKKKKKK!" the light bulb in my lamp exploded.

E "Calm down, take a sip of this."

Elyse handed me a green tea and i graciously accepted.

E "You calm?"

S "I'm fine"

M "Then get the fudge out of bed and get ready for school. We'll be downstairs." smiled Maddison exiting the room with Elyse

S "Bitch" I muttered

M "I heard that. Now stop talking to about yourself and get ready it's the first day."

I jogged to the bathroom and hopped into to the shower ready to wash of all of the stress from this morning and just let the warmth envelop me. Unfortunately, Mr Universe never stops being a salty bitch and instead of warm water pouring out, wouldn't you know it, freezing cold water rained down on me instead.

S "BLOODY HELL!"

"ARE YOU OKAY?!" I heard my friends shout, though Elyse's voice was muffled meaning she was probably stuffing her face with whatever I had in the kitchen. Better head to the grocery store after school.

"YEAH!" I shouted back.

"WELL HURRY UP THEN!" I heard Maddie shout.

There was a burst of laughter followed by Maddison shouting "EWW!" I laughed to myself, knowing that Elyse had probably just spat whatever was chewed up in her mouth all over Maddison.
