Kratos' POV

Irritation. That's all I felt as I stared at thousands upon thousands of monsters arrayed against me.

This was seriously going to take a little longer than I expected. I only had 2100 Hellhounds with me, and we are going up against well over 40,000 monsters.

My Hellhound Lieutenant named Rex came up to me. 'My lord, we can take them' He stated confidently.

I shrugged. 'We might but a lot of us may die' I admitted.

Rex scowled. 'Ever since you became our king, our strength and power have risen, as well as our endurance. We won't be losing as many as you may believe' Rex said confidently.

I was puzzled. 'Wait, how did you Hellhounds gain more power since I became king?' I died curiously.

Rex gave me a toothy grin. 'We get our strength from our king. If our king is weak, us Hellhounds as a race will become weak as well. But you are extremely powerful and your power continues to grow. As your power rises, so does our own' Rex replied.

I nodded in understanding. 'Oh, well we are going to get very powerful now then. My power grows with every kill I make' I said grinning as I stared at all the poor monsters I am about to kill.

Rex seemed to be on the same page as me because he gave me a grin and let out a vicious growl, a growl the rest of the Hellhounds mirrored.

I turned my attention back to the apposing army of monsters and saw the Titan of Destruction walking around with a small group of guards around him. I smiled as a plan began forming in my head. A plan that included my Spartan Army kicking ass, as well as my Hellhound Army.

I turned to my Lieutenant Rex. 'Rex, call the retreat. I have a plan' I quickly told him what the plan was.

'That would save countless lives my king. It's a very wise decision, though I would have preferred a more straight up fight' He said grinning.

I returned his grin with a smile. 'Yes but my Spartans haven't gone to war in hundreds of years. They need to let out some of their energy one way or another' I replied.

Rex grinned. 'Your wish is our command my king, it shall be done' Red said, turning around and barking out orders.

~~~TIME SKIP~~~
My Hellhound Army is currently camped out in a huge cave by the River Styx. It's the perfect place to hide out and regroup. What's even better is that we are only half an hour away from the Doors of Death and right under the nose of that Titan.
'My lord, Lady Artemis and Lord Perseus are here to see you' Rex reported from outside my tent.
'Let them come in' I ordered.
A moment later, my wife and son entered the tent. I gave them a smile. 'Hello my love and my beautiful son. Good you both made it' I said happily as I pulled them both into a hug.
They both smiled and returned my hug. 'We've been great father. Some campers noticed I was gone but they don't suspect anything. However, that daughter of Athena is way too curious for her own good' My son said after pulling away.
I sighed remembering when I used to work for Athena back when she needed me to defend Athens.
'Don't worry son, once I'm out, it won't matter if they know. They will never throw me back in here' I said confidently.
'Good because I need my husband back!' Artemis said giving me a smile.
I laughed lightly. 'And I need my wife and son back. So anyways, you are both probably wondering why I called you two here?' I said.
