Apparently, Green was just a teenager when he died. And he had been told that the four people he was so close to in his life were his best friends when he was in the Human World.

A guy was hitting his girlfriend on the street. She was crying, begging him to stop. No one did anything. And Green decided to step in.

He had been assured that even though the guy stabbed him in the head and Green died on scene, that even though the guy got away, and even though the girl was eventually killed by him in the end, his brave action hadn't went unnoticed. And the girl—who had gone to Heaven a couple days after him—had thanked him for his efforts.

His friend Blue had just heard the news about his death...while he was crossing the street. A car had hit him when he stopped and he had joined Green due to his loyal, caring personality even though he was very often chided for his rage.

Red didn't talk about how he died, but there was a rumor that Vio started distancing himself away from him, his parents had started fighting, and with the deaths of two of his best friends, it had been too much and he had committed suicide. But Red never spoke about it and had yet to confirm anything.

And Vio had apparently been the last man standing in their group when there was a school shooting. While trying to flee along with the other students, he had been trampled. And he had already had a leg injury, so he failed to get to his feet before the shooter had... yeah.

One of the girls who used to go to that school, and a childhood friend of them all, had never revealed how she died except to them. She had had cancer and she didn't tell any of them until they were all dead because she didn't think she'd die from it.

Green couldn't remember his life before but he felt a strong bond between him and his friends, and after other angels assured him that it was common, he stopped caring about the life before his current one.

The group of friends were lounging around and stargazing. Heaven wasn't the cloudy, sunny place in the sky everyone would believe it to be. Even though it was in the sky, they seemed to walk upon streets of cobblestone and among modern houses before reaching trees and trees, a forest so thick you couldn't even see the glade that was so close, it was a short distance away but it still took hours to find.

"What do you think the Human World looks like now?" Vio asked, breaking the silence between the group.

"What do you mean Vio?" Green asked, not sure where the question came from.

"We all know time is different here than it is there," Vio stated.

"I didn't know that," Red admitted quietly so no one heard him.

Vio continued, "Aren't you guys curious at all about how it might have changed? Or what those parts of the world we never saw might be like?"

"Of course," Blue grumbled. "You spend so much time with your nose in that book that you haven't noticed the missing angels."

"Of course I've noticed them!" Vio's face flushed in embarrassment. "It was just a question, forget it."

There was a couple moments of silence before Zelda spoke up. "In all honestly, I haven't felt any urge to explore the Human World, Vio." Her friend looked over at her, as if waiting for her to go on. "I mean, Heaven is a paradise! We have everything we could need here, and the Human World is ridden with disease and destruction, I wouldn't want to return even if there wasn't demons chopping off angel wings left and right."

"Yeah," Vio agreed with a sigh.

A beat of silence before she said again, "Of course, it is possible that I'm just saying this because I'm unconsciously thinking that anyone who goes down there doesn't come back up and I don't want to see my friend next, maybe when all this blow overs, we can both go down there and decide for ourselves."
