Chapter 8: Euphoria

Clevander's POV

1 week later.

Here's the thing. Jeff came out. I'm happy yet sad at the same time because I might be the reason why Angel and him broke up. Happy because I might have a chance to be his boyfriend, if I'm dreaming! Ha! Anyway, a week have past and let's just say that things are really working out with us. We learned a new piece, and performed it well during practice. Today, we're going to uncle Marlo's office for the costume fitting.

We are riding through coach Lily's car since it's a 30 minutes drive from the Uni. Let me also tell you this, coach Albert and Lily seem to be close to each other. I even saw them almost kissing when they were practicing at the dance studio the other day and I forgot my phone. I don't really mind since that's clearly not my business. Jeff has been such a gentleman! Always opening up the door, holding my hands when he had a chance, even stealing kisses in the cheeks! Not that I mind though but we never really talked about our relationship.

We arrived at this very tall building, which I think has 20 floors full of costumes, gowns, fabrics and all sewing stuff. We went to the 15th floor since that's where the costumes were created.

"Hey Clev! Nice to see you again. Jefferson, Mr. Albert, and ofcourse, the legendary prima ballerina Ms. Lily. Come on in!" Uncle Marlo invited.

"As you can see, I wasn't able to help my assistant designer to measure your fit because your auntie Martha was sick at that moment so I needed to attend to her attention. Anyway, I have a good news, but before that, try your costumes on!" He told us. A man held us two beautifully made catsuit. If you wear it and be on the spotlight, the colors will shine. It was mix of black velvet and navy to mix shades of blue. I went to the first changing room and wear the costume. It really defined a slight curve in my waist and it was the exact fit for my body, plus the fabric use is not itchy. I saw a white cloth on the corner of the room, so I got it and covered myself with it. I came out to the room and saw Jeff already standing there, looking so handsome. His muscles at defined and his legs too. He's so charming!

"Why are you covering yourself Clev?" Coach Lily asked. I slowly took the cover off, revealing my costume. Jeff swalowed hard and I almost turned red. Why would he do that? Am I like a sort of food?

"Clevander Chua, you should be proud of your body! Not everyone, even some girls cannot achieve your features! You are a true blessing of God!" Uncle Marlo said.

"It's okay to be conscious of your figure Clev. But remember what I told you, you are for short, the girl of this dance piece and you are fit for it. And even when you're not dancing, you should still practice your figure and poses. Be proud of what you have and it can kill the judges already." Coach Lily said.

Then that developed a little courage and I try to pose myself. It's not really hard though cause I also has a soft side.

"Now get closer and we'll take a picture for the company documentation." The man before said and took a picture. "Can you do a pose together?" He asked.

Jeff positioned himself, standing straight, his right hand on his lower waist while the left hand is curve up to his head, and his gaze was on me. I moved my orientation to his gaze so now I'm facing him. I reach my left hand to his right shoulder while my right hand is in a slanting position, pointing my right foot while the left foot is tip toe.

After the fitting, we went back to practice our routine for the Regionals the day after tomorrow. You might ask, why didn't you started with the Divisions? Well the main reason is that, we are the chosen representatives of the city, and we're the only city in the region, which makes us directly contestants for the contest.

"Alright that would be enough for today. Jefferson, Clev, please pack your maleta because if ever we will win on the Regionals, we will then fly directly to Manila for the Nationals. The University already sent a letter of consent to your parents and the Dean is only waiting for their phonecalls." Coach Albert said.

"And also, don't forget to bring another backpack for practice clothes and water since I cannot carry it all." Coach Lily said slightly laughing.

"Okay you may now go to your room. Have an early sleep since the flight to Cebu is scheduled at 4 AM so we need to be in the airport before that." Coach Albert added. We bid our goodbye and went back to the room. I took a quick shower before packing my stuff.

I grab some decent amount of clothes and also my gadgets. I saw Jeff packing his things too.

"All done." He said.
"Me too." I replied.

I lay down to bed. Thinking of the contest. If I tell you that I'm not nervous, then I'm lying. But somehow, there's a little fire inside my bones that's trying to shine through. I'm also comfortable with Jeff as my partner.

"Hey, are you sleeping?" He asked. I was silent for a moment. "Yeah. Why?"

"I just want to say that...umm...that I...that I'm starting to fall for you Clev. So hard." He confessed. Wait, my brain is still processing. I THINK I'M LIVING ON CLOUD 100! "Uh...me too." I responded feeling so shy. He look at my direction. "Really?" I nod. Then he stole a peck from my lips! From my LIPS! that's my first kiss! Jefferson Gray got my first kiss!

"I'm sorry I got overwhelmed! I just...I'm so happy that we both feel the same way!" He said with a pearly smile. He then went top on me. "Can..can I kiss you?" I only nod, not able to process some words at the moment. He began kissing my lips and I immediately felt so wonderful like I'm feeling the pure ecstasy. I kiss him back, not really confident since I don't know how to kiss. We make out for another 10 minutes before he pull out, catching our breaths.

"That...that was...totally...ama...amazing!" I told him smiling. "Clev, I'm been thinking about this for a while now," wait is he going to leave me? We aren't boyfriends yet! He look back at the lamp table and got a piece of small silver box. "This is a ring, a symbol of my love for you.-" he opened the box and I gasped with what I saw! It's a silver ring with little bits of diamonds. "Will you be my boyfriend?" WHAT! CLEV BREATH! DON'T MAKE A FOOL OF YOURSELF. JUST SAY YES! "Ofcourse! Yes! I want to be your boyfriend!" I kiss him and he put the ring on. He got another box and lend it to me. It was the exact ring and I put it in his finger.

"Wow. These are beautiful." I told him looking at the ring. "It's actually an exclusive Item. My parents designed it for there 25th wedding anniversary but they said it'll be ours." He told me. "So your parents knew about this?" I asked. "Yes. And their excited to meet you. Right after the contest, even if we cant win the Golds at GICOT, I'm still happy since I won your heart." He winked at me. After a few words of exchange, we fell asleep in each other's arm.
