keiths pov

flashaback

it all started that night at lances house . his family had gone out for the night so lance invited me over we talked played board games he also told me some of his best pick up lines . until lance started tickling me and ended up falling on top of me he leaned down to me and our lips met in a passionate kiss . that was until lances dad walked in and grabbed him of me so much for him being out  .

"what the fuck you doing with boy your not gay"i hered lances dad shout at him ."dad please I'm sorry "lance replied wich caused his dad to start hitting him and kicking him I hered words like faggot your not gay and more which I don't even want to think about.

for some reason i couldn't do anything all i could do was stand there and shout "please stop it no don't hurt him"i kept on crying and shouting until i hered lance wimper"keith just go"i wont leave you"i fought back "just fucking go keith " lance shouted and i ran out of the house crying all the way home .

end of flashback

you okay lance?i asked walking over to his table in the school cafeteria he had a big dark bruise around his left eye and a cut on his bottom lip  ."I'm fine now go away""please don't speak to me like that" " keith if you don't leave me the fuck alone ill get people to jump you"he said walking over to me and getting closer to my face i could here lotor and zarkon the people who he was sitting with laughing and getting up and standing behind him.

"will you really lance or shall i just tell them what really happned to your face "i say turning around and walking of .

i stopped where i was and clenched my fist together and walked over to lance . i tried to throw a punch at him but i missed . which made lance angry and with rage he started hitting and kicking  me in the middle of the cafeteria . soon lotor and zarkon joined in . and through muffled vision and hearing i could see people crowding around me cheering them on and pidge screaming at them to  stop and trying to push them away . suddenly everything stopped and i was pulled away from the fight that's when everything went black.

i woke up in tightly held in someone's arms i smiled to myself feeling safe for once. i looked up seeing my best friend shiro frowning down at me . "you ok keith ?" he asked letting me get out of his grip ."I'm fine i replied"and wiped my sweaty hands on my jeans .

"keith this might sound weird but me and you are gonna start a fake relationship ok?"

"what the hell shiro no i wake up still in pain from getting jumped and you wanna start a so called fake relationship with me no."

"keith i hit all the the people who were hurting you only half hour ago they then ran away scared . but they will hurt you again you no if your on your own that's why i want you to do this with me because then i can keep you safe its a good idea i think pidge though of it "

"really pidge thanks for putting ideas into his head again"

"yeh but common keith look at shiro hes the fittest toughest guy in school if anyone sees you with him they'll leave you alone straight away "pidge said.

"ugh fine  whatever then shiro can be my bodyguard"i replied sarcastically . until i saw hunk  running over to us .

"y we all still going to that end of year dinnerparty thing at alluras house next week "

"uhh yeh hunk we are"i told him slighty confused

"good because she told me to come and ask you"he said scurrying of to find allura .

"well guys I'm gonna go home keith wanna lift he said taking my hand in his "

"uh yeh sure shiro"i said blushing and got into the passengers side of shiros car .
