January 3, 2010
The snow was beginning to fall more and more as the night began to fall.
My older brother Adam and older sister Angie were both wearing there fancy evening attire.
Mom and Dad had been invited to a benefit banquet tonight. I was only 9 and being forced to stay home considering I wasn't so keen on sitting around and just eating and conversing amongst each other.
They had hired a sitter to take care of me for the night. I didn't like staying home without someone from my family with me. It felt lonely for the most part.
It wasn't that I didn't like my home. My house twice the size of other peoples. I was only 9, but I understood the fact that our family was "rich".
Our basement had to be my favorite place of the whole property. As soon as you entered the family room there was a little ledge that appeared over into the basement. The corner had two large windows so you could observe what was going on below.
An extravagant pool laid there, built as if it was a cave.
"Chloe we're leaving now" snapped me back to reality. I ran over to the front door of our mansion so I could give mom a hug before she left. "Chloe remember -"
"Don't stay up to late, yeah I know" I say cutting her off. She always tells me the same thing every time she leaves me with a sitter at night.
"I love you Chloe" Mom pulled me closer in for a tight hug. She kissed me on the cheek.
"I love you too"
"I have to go, but were be back when you wake up tomorrow." Her hand pulled away until our fingertips were no longer touching. She closed the door behind her and my family as they walked out into the cold Colorado winter.

Almost 8 years later
"Roni, we haven't got all day for you to be staring at the mirror. You have a photo shoot in 10 minutes and mic check before your concert at 4." The yelling of my manager was really starting to bug me.
It had been almost 8 years since the night my family died in the drunk driving accident. I stupid drunk driver was going the wrong way on the highway and while Dad tried to swerve to avoid him, the car skid against the ice and was pushed by the car into a ditch.
They all died and left me with my uncle who used my talent and image to profit himself. He threw my childhood out the window and got me modeling contract. He also snagged a recording contract with a big record company in California, where he moved me after the tragic event.
I was doing good for myself. I had made about 30 million through my hit records and modeling. I owned a cute decent sized beach house. But who was I kidding myself, I missed my family and I definitely missed being normal.
I was happy that I had somewhat of a normal life outside of the fame. I used the alter ego of Roni Reign, who was seen as the party, alcoholic spoiled popstar. I was the complete opposite.
My name was still pretty famous do to the crash and who my parents were. My mom was a model for a few years while my dad had owned a development company.
Whenever someone heard me introduce myself as Chloe Sinclaire I would get a lot of sympathetic looks. For months after the accident my face was in the media day after day.
"Ready". I stood up in my dressing room after styling my wig. The hair I put on as Roni was a light brown. It still complimented my features well. I wore blue contacts to try to keep my two lives as separate as possible.
I stepped into the large warehouse looking room. The back wall and floor was draped in a white backdrop. Standard for most photoshoots.
Today was nothing more than a November day in California. Well that is until Annabelle walked in through the large warehouse doors.
"Where's my Chloe" Of course I haven't seen Belle since the funeral. She was my mother's best friend. She's my godmother, but since there was no blood relation I was sent to my uncle.
She's what you call a very loving person. She's married to Carter Bancock. NFL legend. Won the Superbowl with the Green Bay Packers in 2011. And if I recall correctly she has two twin boys my age. Ashton and Ayden.
"Belle, it's been so long" I stand up from my chair without even remembering that I was still in my Roni Reign outfit. It really didn't matter because she knew my secret and somewhat understood my hectic life. Or at least she tried to keep up, but like I said it's been almost 8 years since i've seen her.
"Your coming to Colorado with me" her tone was very authoritative. Yet questionable.
"What do you mean i'm going to Colorado with you!?!"
"This is not who you are" gesturing to the Bra and Underwear I was wearing along with the photoshoot. "I let this go on long enough. Your coming to live with us in Colorado and become a normal girl."
"I think I passed normal a long time ago. Belle I've done just fine on my own and I think i'll manage." I would love to except the offer, but if my uncle finds out i'm throwing my career away it might as well be the end of the world.
"I already talked to your Uncle and he said it's fine considering it's just for the rest of high school. Your career will still be here in a year and a half. Pack your bags, I expect you in Colorado within the month."
She turned around and proceeded back to the exit. We had wacked up quite the audience around us.
I guess Colorado was my next move in my life.
