"So that went better than expected"

"Belle, did you invite me here not checking it over with your family? Now I feel like burden."

"Chloe don't me silly, Carter and I have discussed it and decided that it was best for you and maybe even our boys." There she goes with ulterior motives.

"Well they didn't seem to bothered by the fact that Chloe will be staying here, so that must be a good thing right?" I almost forgot Justin was standing next to me this entire time.

"Right, Belle this is Justin my" Justin cuts me off "Her friend from LA, I offered to help her move in." Well that's weird to say the least. Were so much more than just friends. Nothing romantic, but I consider him as a brother, as family. He knows how hard it was to let someone in.

"It's nice to meet you Justin." They reach over the counter shake hands. It there was ever a contest for awkward first meetings this would have to be in the top 100 for sure.

"So Chloe how about I show you to your room." She gestures for us to follow her. We make our way up the staircase. She turns into a long hallway that extends throughout the length of the house. We pass a few doors. One with a no trespassing sign and another with a Property of Ayden sign.

We stop just down the hall from what I assume our the twins room. It's a double door entrance, she opens to reveal what looks like a penthouse.

The bed is up against the right side of the wall. There's white curtains covering the far wall in front of me. There is another set of double doors against the far wall that's covered in mostly glass. My bedroom overlooks the front of the house.

"Over here you have your closet" she gestures to the doors with gold handles and carvings in the door. If I didn't know better I would thing I was on the set of Princess DIaries. "It should be up to your standard, it's quite large and were go out shopping this weekend to fill it up to the max."

I can hear Justin holding in a laugh. "Did I miss something?" Belle asks giving Justin a concerned look. In his defence he looked like he was choking.

"Justin cut it out. No Belle, continue what you were saying" I smack him in the shoulder.

"Hey"

She clears her throat and continues. "Like I was saying that's the closet, there's the bathroom and here is my favorite part of your room" She leads us to the glass doors. "The terrace"

The view is just breathtaking. You can see most of Breckenridge and the Smokey Mountains in the background. The balcony isn't that big in size, but it's the only balcony that's in the front of the house.

"So what do you think? Is it enough to call home for a while?" Home? Nothing has been home for a while, but it's enough for me to survive the next year and a half of my life.

"I guess were see."

"That sounds very optimistic." I yawn escapes me as she starts to head back into my bedroom. "How about we unpack and talk tomorrow, you must have been up all night driving"

"Actually she crashed halfway through the trip up here, but I on the other hand is very tired. I think i'll come by tomorrow after a good 8 hour nap. I'll help Chloe unload her car."

"Don't be silly you can stay here. We've got plenty of guest bedrooms. I'll show you to yours and then let you two get settled for a good night's sleep."

She leads Justin to the room just across the hall from mine. Then i'm left alone for the first time since we got here. I'm trying my best to keep my mood as happy as can be, but as I sink into my king sized bed I think it finally hits me.
