The Food Queen

Percy was finally slowing down while we neared an open house? NO definitely not an open house more like a pavilion? Yes a house of food! God now I am soooo hungry wonder what's on the menu? Percy pulled me down to a table that literally had no one sitting down at it, its probably where the nerds/losers sit. When I sat down I noticed other people staring at me like I did something wrong, while others looked as if they were scared for me, if that a thing? I was pulled out of my thoughts when Percy called my name,

"Ara? Hello earth to Ara? Ara!"

"huh, what is it Percy?"

"Dude I called your name like fifteen times! What were you deep thinking about?"

"Huhhhh, food?"

"Oh man me too, I'm starving lets eat!" Right after Percy spoke a whole meal appeared on his plate in front of him. It had a huge burger and when I mean huge I mean huge! Then came the fries those were normal cause like those are the best type am I right?! The thing that really caught my eye was the blue soda, like that could be anything, it could be blue raspberry, it could blue cream like the Frosties drink, it might even be the jolly rancher, or maybe my favorite the voltage favor of mountain dew. After I was pulled back out of my crazy thoughts I realized that there was an extra person at the table a girl. The girl was stunning, she had curly light blonde hair though not as light as mine, cause my was like blonde white it's kind of creepy any who back to the description of the mystery girl, she had tannish skin like she had been in the sun everyday of the summer. The one thing that was so cool about her was her gray eyes. They looked as if they had storms in them, oh wait if I can see her eyes that clearly that means, oh crap she is staring at me. She then quickly turned to Percy probably wanting answers about who I am and if I am a threat to her. 

"Percy, who is the girl in front of you?" the crazy girl said through a fake smile.

"Oh hey Annabeth, this Ara, she is new." Percy replied back through a mouth load of food.

okay I am just going into my thoughts again and start thinking about how hungry I am, all I can think about are patty melts I used to have in Seattle with one of my foster parents they were soo good. Suddenly the next thing I realized was that I had a patty melt on my plate with fries. I looked at my cup and started imaging lemonade but not any lemonade I was imaging strawberry lemonade. Just I thought the cup was filled with what I wanted, beat that Percy. I am the food queen, I then started to stuff my face with food, like what you are you supposed to do if your favorite food is in front of you?!  Sadly Percy had finished his food and wanted to talk to me but I was too busy eating to actually pay attention, well until Annabeth waved her sweaty hand in front face, like who even does that these days?!

"Hello Ara?" She asked me still waving that stupid hand in my face, if she continuings any longer she wont have a right hand anymore.

"What... do you want cant you see I am eating." I replied with a devil face.

"Well I thought we could get to know you more if we actually started a conversation."

"Fine what do you want to know?" I boredly responded

"Well do you have a single mom or a single dad?" Annabeth questioned.

Really she just had to ask that, great now I have to tell her about being a orphan and how my crappy parents didn't want me and that that they just threw me away like I was trash. Great now people are going to feel sorry for me and start treating me differently thank you Annabeth.

"Well I don't know actually I'm an orphan my parents left me on the street, not an orphanage, a street. So I try hard not to think about them that much." I sighed.

"Ara, I am so sorry, that must have been very hard on you." Percy looked at me with the biggest eyes in the world and he tilted his big stupid head to the right.

That's it I don't want to go through this again, quick Ara for once in your life get distracted on purpose. Oh I have an idea, I threw fries at Percy and half my patty melt at Annabeth(who caught it)Percy had like no reaction time so the fries hit him square in the face. It was hilarious, I snickered when I saw that Percy had a French fry in his mouth from him trying to speak again.

"Oh it's on now! Foood Fight!" Percy screamed so that the entire lunch pavilion could hear him.

Percy gave me a smirk which I gladly returned and that when it began an all out war of the food, but I couldn't be distracted by the others around me I had to go for the biggest and the most bad, Annabeth. Sure there are others around that are worse than her like the one huge girl with curly hair, but she looks like she can snap in half just like a toothpick. There! I spotted Annabeth and made my way to her with a bowl of jello I grabbed on my way over her, ok the target is in range, three, two, one, ready aim fire. The beautiful jello made it's way over to her and hit her right in the back. Yes, yes, yes, I didn't hehehehe I am the food queen. Just then Percy decided to sneak up behind me and pour water all over me, just before I could say his name a loud voice came over the crowd,

"Enough, stop this at once."

To much of my surprise the voice belonged to a centaur, I turned to Percy wanting some answers but for some reason all Percy could do was stare at my head in shock, I turned around to look for Annabeth to find more people staring at me, ok what did I do, I didn't start the food fight that was Percy. Wait what if I looked straight up and saw a glowing trident, does that mean what I think it means.

"All hail daughter of the sea, daughter of the glorified Poseidon, wait what's your name child?"

"Ara" Percy replied for still in total shock.

"Right Ara, all hail Ara"

Then the craziest things happened everyone started bowing, even crazy Annabeth. But I just learned I had a real father for once in my life so the tears started flowing down my face, I then felt hand on my back and a strong chest in front of me. It was Percy, Percy was hugging me, I embraced the hug just to hear him say,

"Shh don't cry, we will get through this together, okay sis?"

"Okay." Was all I could mumble back.

I was happy to know that I had Percy for how ever long that might be, but much against my knowledge I didn't know I would lose him so fast.

welcome back amigos its has been awhile, there has been so much drama at home, so I hope you forgive the delay of the chapters. the next chapter will explain more about Ara's past.
