Danny hovered inside the room, watching kids come and go. He had been haunting the school for twelve years since his final death. Tucker had even become the teacher, and Dash taught P.E.
It was strange the first few years, seeing everyone else grow up, but he stayed, listening. Protecting. Watching.
If a child was ignored or hurt, strange things would happen. Doors slamming. Temperatures dropping. Whispering.
To Danny, it was long and boring. Being sent to watch over a school. But it was his job, and it would be until all of his friends die.
