"Music becomes my bestfriend when nobody else understands me."

Chapter Eight:
I looked out at the apartments. Letting my eyes wander across the place. A mother had gotten her toddler out of the backseat of the car and they were now making their way up the stairs.
"Is this the place?"
I nodded my head as I unbuckled my seatbelt, stepping out of the car. "I'll be back. No longer then 10 minutes."
"Want us to come with you?"
I ruffled Axels' head. "I said no longer then 10 minutes. I'll be back."
He pushed his seat back so that it looked as if he was laying down. " Be safe."
I shut the door as I bent down, looking through the window. "When am I not"
"Um lets see" He sat up a little straighter as he counted off his fingers. "The day we first met. The time you went to the party. The time-"
I backed away from the car holding my hands to my ear. "Lala lala I can't hear you."
A smirk appeared at the corner of his lips. I ignored it and turned around making my way up the stairs.
Letting my eyes scan over the doors I passed by I stopped at the 3rd door I seen.
B4. Bingo
I knocked on the door waiting for it to open. A girl who shared similar features with Lewis opened the door. She seemed a couple inches taller than me with a slimmer stature. "Who are you?"
I peered through the background and noticed that she must've been watching tv. "Um Hey is Lewis here?"
She smiled unsure of herself most likely confused. "I'm sorry who are you?"
"Allyssa. Allyssa West."
Her eyes lit up and she stepped aside welcoming me in. "Oh your Ally, Lewis talks about you a lot."
"All nice things I hope."
"Oh of course." She gently grabbed my arm tugging me inside. "I'm Hope, Lewis' cousin."
"Well is had been lovely meeting you." I lied "But I'm on a tight schedule so can you show me where Lewis is?"
"Oh yes right. Go straight down the hall then turn to your left he should be in that room."
I nodded as I followed her directions. When I made it to the door I pushed it open not caring what could've been going on in the room. "Lewis!"
He looked up from what seemed like his homework, giving me a cheerful smile. "What's up Al."
"Did you ever get my name on the list?" I asked, taking slow steps towards him.
"Yeah the pin was correct like Amelia said so now your on the list."
"Really?" I took the paper off his bed, pretending to be amused by it. "Because a friend of mines whose going to the gala said there was no list."
He froze in shock as he started to understand. "Well urm" He cleared his throat as he continued writing. "He must've been one of those important people that didn't have to be on the list."
I gave him a nice small then grabbed him by the ear, dragging him out of the bed. "I'll admit it Lewis, you are quite a good liar for such a short notice. So now would you like to tell me the real reason. Hm?"
