Hours later she still hung there next to her unconscious friend. Tears dribbled down her face, falling onto the cold, concrete floor. The constant pain that ran through her system like a wild fire, burning up to her forehead where a small stump of a horn had begun protruding from her head.
Soon footsteps were heard, the soft tapping coming closer and closer until a cold hand grabbed her face, making her look up at the figure which was now known to be Adriel.
'The last, little angel isn't fully corrupted yet. Boss won't be too happy about that.'
She growls, darkly it was almost animalistic. 'Let me go.' She tugged harshly at the cuffs, her left eye black with the whites now blood red.
'Oh, you seem demon enough.' He scanned over her body, it was almost as if there was a line drawn down her body, the left hand being demonic and the right holy. 'This sure is interesting.' He sighs, undoing her cuffs. 'Boss will want to see this.'
She scowled at him, attempting to shove him away from herself yet he grabs her arm, pinning it behind her back without a word as he leads her into the throne room.
For the ruler of hell, he had good taste. The throne room was gorgeous. Black and red, being the main colours of it all. Torches of red, orange and blue, hung on the pillars leading up to the grand throne where Satan sat and next to him a portal, a portal to heaven.
A dark chuckle emitted from his chest, the deep red demon stood from his throne, a wide smirk on his face. 'Well, what have we got here?' He mused, twirling his black cane.
Adriel chuckles, glancing down at her. 'A feisty one. She has seemed to be converted enough.'
He nods, gripping her chin to examine her face. He hisses in pain, pulling away from her. 'She's still too pure.' Glancing at his fingertips, where a pinkish mark was blistering as if burnt.
Adriel scowled, putting a hand on her shoulder to push her onto her knees.
'Get off me!' She screamed, using her other arm to elbow him in the stomach. He doubles over, letting go of her to hold his stomach.
She scrambles to her feet, rushing to the other side of the room. 'Stay back!' She held her hands out in front of herself in a protective manner.
Satan cackles. "And what would a little angel like you do about it?' He takes a step forward as Adriel regains his composer.
She looks around frantically, gripping her multi-coloured hair in distress. Whilst the others slowly approach her. In her distress, a flurry of anger and fear ran through her. Almost forgetting the halo atop her head that was now dangling from her one horn.
She didn't know why but it seemed to have a glow to it, so she grabbed it holding onto it tightly. It just felt like the right thing to do. In her hands she stared at the halo, expecting something, anything. And to her surprise, it actually did something, the once golden halo had morphed into a dagger.
In her hand was a white dagger with golden trim and accents as well as a silver blade in a zig-zag pattern. Her eyes widened, glancing up at the demons who had become much closer than before. She yelped, wanting to back away but it seemed her other half had another idea. Dagger pointed outwards, towards the two she stepped forward, a manic grin on her face.
'A dagger? Really, to defeat the ruler of hell, do you really think that would work?' Satan cackled.
'Come over here and you'll see what this measly dagger can do.'
He twirled his staff, the end of the blunt object suddenly becoming sharp and pointed. 'Gladly.'
Without warning, he charged at her, his intent now set on killing her. Though the dagger was small, it was strong. So when Satan came charging at her, she managed to block the incoming attack. She panted, using all her strength to push against the almighty being. Yelping as he was able to overpower her so she ducked under his staff, staggering backwards.
