‘Actually no, I think you should confess to Henry that you have been listening to his private conversation with his brother. However unintentional it might be.’ For the fifth time or was it the sixth who cared how many, Anita changed her suggestion when she was asked for one after hearing about Yosuf’s experience.

‘For the love of God woman make up your mind. What should I do?’ asked Yosuf rather impatiently. He knew that time was of essence but alas it was also short, very short.

‘I know it, why don’t you go and confess to Henry and also if possible have a heart to heart and I go and tell the entire incident to Sam and Adi?’ Anita said with eyes bright and comical.

‘Sounds like a plan. I don’t think Nandu is coming this way any time soon. Granny has all her attention. They are checking out old family jewellery that granny got for her wedding. Let’s make the most of the little time we have’ said Yosuf  pouncing up from the rocking chair in the balcony where he was sitting.

‘No wait!’ cried Anita.

‘Now what?’

‘Call Henry over here and you confess in front of all of us. That way we would not waste any time and we may be able to take the conversation further with everyone’s involvement in Nandu’s absence.’

‘Are you sure about this? I mean are you absolutely sure?’ Yosuf asked rather unconvinced

‘Why yes of course. Stop asking so many questions and wasting time, specially stupid ones’ Anita retorted.

‘Okay then, I am going to call Henry here and do as we planned. You sure you don’t want to change the plan again?’ asked Yosuf.

‘Oh posh! Just go already’ Anita said shooing Yosuf off with her hands. Perhaps even she was afraid that she might actually change her mind again just like Yosuf presumed.

After a while they all gathered back in Nandini’s room to discuss the issue at hand. Anita brought Sam and Adi and Yosuf brought along Henry with him. The only person absent was Nandini. Yosuf felt almost guilty doing this behind Nandini, something which he was not very used to feeling despite being a lawyer. However, he knew Nandini’s presence would ruin whatever little chance Sam and Adi might have to an early happiness. Not that Nandini would do it on purpose. Nandini would never wish for someone’s misery ever, let alone Adi and Sam, and Yosuf knew that, but he also knew that with Nandini’s independent nature things might not turn the way it should which was rather weird because Yosuf did not know why he felt that Henry SHOULD be the way for Nandini and the other way round.  He was not the doe eyed romantic. Unlike Adi he was more realistic and reasonable. However, he knew that this matchmaking was perhaps the best thing he would do in a long time to come. He somehow knew that this match would never fail in a hundred years or even beyond, that he would not lose this case ever.

‘Mr. Grant’ started Yosuf.

‘Henry, just Henry is fine’ interrupted Henry.

‘Alright, Henry I have a confession to make. However, before that I have a question to ask, for I do not know how to confess without asking the question. I would expect you to be completely honest with your answer’ Yosuf said as honestly as possible.

‘Very well what is the question?’ asked Henry rather curious. He was glad that there was no beating about the bush because perhaps with all his emotions raging inside him he would not be able to handle another drama unfolding in front of him.

Everyone waited with baited breath, especially Adi and Sam since they were told that it was something that could really ease their path for being together.
