This is my first attempt to write a novella, that too a romance. I would not deny secretly I love reading romance novels, but I am usually into writing short stories and film reviews. I have never tried writing a full fledged novel ever before, and I honestly did not know whether the idea of this story was good enough or not. So I would like all you wonderful people out there to read it and leave comments and reviews. I must say that this is the unedited version. I am still on the go and writing the story so have not yet been able to sit and edit it. However, I would appreciate if anyone wants to edit it or even create a cover for this book.
The events in this book predominantly takes place in two places. The first part is in a remote village in the state of Rajasthan in India. The second part is in London. If any one of you are not aware of the geographic location and the physical and climatic condition of Rajasthan, I would suggest to do a little bit of a reading on Wiki. However, I can say that Rajasthan or the land of the Rajas as the name suggests is in the west of India and is well known for its architectural marvels and sandy desert. In modern India, we still have the estates of the old royal families, and they still retain their royal titles and seals, however they do not take part in the administration of the place. India has been a democratic country since Independence in 1947. However, these royal families with their old wealth, and their direct bloodline do exist, and they exist in style. That is the mood and scenarios that I have tried to create in this book.
