I'm Missdisappear01, and if you made it this far, then you have reached the end of this story. I hope you had as much fun reading it as I did writing it. The story you see here was indeed a revised version of the one I had written two years ago. Undertale is one of my favorite games, not just story wise, but because of it's ability to show how we as players affect the game. If we chose to do good, as many do, we still face the challenge of a normal game, but we end up connecting with the monsters more than we'd realize. If we do bad, then the monsters react the same way we think they would. They would attack us back in order to survive.
Chara, in this story, was very fun to write about. When this story began, I admit that I felt bad for the poor kid. I mean, we knew very well from the game that Chara's life was not the easiest, and with their hatred for humanity, something must have happened at home. The theory that I enjoyed was the one from Capture the beast, and was indeed the root to his backstory for this fan fic.
Frisk, although as intelligent as they can be, was portrayed as fairly naive at some points in this story. I felt that since Frisk was kind in nature, they would be easily trusting at certain times with the creatures they meet. They're still a kid after all, and children happen to be the most easily trusting creatures we come to meet everyday.
I know that Frisk and Chara are both supposed to be gender neutral, so I hope them being boys for this fic wouldn't turn people away. I'm aware some of you may see them as girls, but i think what I enjoyed the most about writing them as boys was the bond they ended up having. That almost brotherly bond that happened between them and Frisk wanting to save Chara. I just adore the idea of the two seeing each other as brothers in a way.

I did have an alternative ending in mind for this story that was not posted in the original version, but not going to spoil it yet. Maybe I'll post it up soon for you guys to read but for now, I must say farewell.
