Chapter 26

Y/N POV

It has been a week now since Taehyung haven't called or texted me back. What is wrong with him?

I ringed Shannon up and said,"seventh day"

She understood what I wws talking about and said, "hmmm..you should try to go to his place"

"Shannon......you know I can't go in there without his invitation" I replied back.

"But Y/N at least try...to go in and find out about him, why isn't he responding to your calls and texts or why is he ignoring you"

"Okay, I'll ask the gate guards instead"

"Yeah...do that instead"
"Hmmm"

and I cut off.

I went quickly to his place without wasting any time and asked the two guards there.

"Is Taehyung okay? Is he at home? What is he doing now?"

The guards looked at me with big eyes and one of them spoke,

"Ma'am...please relax. Your Highness is well and healthy, and yes he is at home."

"Can I go in and meet him?"

"I'm afraid that you can't ma'am..."

"Why?"

"Because he told us that he don't want to see you"

I was shocked but not surprised. Because I expected this from him. He, disappearing without any sign and when I come back to see him he will send me off.

"He doesn't want to see me? He doesn't" I laughed like a madwoman outside the palace's gates.

I took off our engagement ring from my finger and handed it to the guards.

"Please give it to Taehy- oh sorry Prince Taehyung" and then I left.

I went home. I was like a statue now. I didn't cry because I've been crying for a long time now. I was deeply shocked.

I have been like a statue for hours now. He broke up with me. Damnit Taehyung. I trusted and loved you and you did this to me? Why tho? Wasn't I enough?
And now you don't want to see me?

I was disturbed by a phonecall from Jungkook.

"Hi Y/N" he said in a cheery voice.

"Hey Kookie" I tried to sound not too broken but I think he found out cause he was silent for a while.

"I hope you're okay Y/N-ah..if you want to share anything just don't be afraid to. I'm always right here
...
For you...."

At that moment I bursted out in tears again. I told him every single details about what happened.

"Shhh it's gonna be okay Y/N ah. I wish I was there to comfort you but I can't come right now because of my schedule. I promise to be there soon as possible. "

"Its okay Jungkook ah I know you're busy..so you don't need to. It's really okay"

"No...I'll be there tomorrow right next to you. Okay Y/N? Get some good sleep and we'll have a talk"

"Hmmm okay."

"Bye. Take care."

"Bye"

I ringed up and told Shannon about everything too. She said that maybe it was because he was busy. Maybe she's right too. But I don't know.

I wahed myself up. Got ready into my nighties and watched a movie eating lots and lots of snacks and chocolates. Yum. My mother always said that chocolates are good for sad moments as it makes your mood cool down.

After I've done my daily night routine I tried to sleep but I couldn't so I opened my instagram (which I haven't opened for a very long time) and saw people's post about me and Taehyung's breakup. I decided to not look at it anymore because if I look at it again, I will become teary and my mood will be spoiled. So, I shut off the notification section to not get any other further news reports about the breakup. I don't know how did people know about our breakup. Oh right, Taehyung must've revealed it. I don't and didn't care anymore anyways. I dozed off to a peaceful sleep after all that crying thing.

TAEHYUNG POV

That afternoon when Y/N gave the ring and went back.

I was reading a book when a knock on my door distubed me.

"Come in" I answered.

"Sir, Miss Y/N came an-"

"What Y/N came? Where is she? How is she? Is she waiting for me outside?"

"No sir but she told us to give this to you."

And one of them handed me a ring. It was the her engagement ring.

"But why? Did she say anything?"

"No sire. She just gave us thing ring and left"

"Well there must be a reason why she left this ring. Did one of you tell her something"

"We're sorry sire. We asked to tell her that you don't want to see her"

"Who ordered you to tell her this?!" My voice went a bit higher and harsh.

"Ma'am sir"

"Who ma'am?"

"Your ex girlfriend sir."

"Damn it"

I went to search for Jieun and found her talking with one of the guests. I pulled her away with an excuse and dragged her into one of the rooms.

"Why did you do this Jieun?"

"Do what?"

"You know damn well what I'm talking about"

"Honey,please lower your voice. There are people here."

"So what if there are people here? They also need to know how bad are you don't they?"

"Oh then should I reveal about...."

Oh how much I hate her. She smirked and went back.
I wish this would end soon. I wish I could explain Y/N everything. I wish I could talk to her. How long do I have to wait?
