Chapter 27

Y/N POV

I woke up to the sound of my doorbell ringing. Ugh who must be here at this time?
I groaned but suddenly rushed to the door when I remembered that Jungkook was coming over today.

"Oh shit how can I forget?" I muttered to myself.

I fixed myself before opening the door.

"Hey Kookie." I smiled at him.

In a blink of an eye he came and hugged me.

"I missed you" he said.

"I missed you too." I hugged him back.

Then we broke the friendly hug.

"I'm sorry that you have to go through this all alone."

"Don't be. Don't feel pity on me. It was nothing" I smiled a smile...but a pained one.

"Have you heard anything about him? Besides him telling you to stay away from him?"

"Nope. And I don't think I want to anyway."

"Why? He must have some problems too maybe. Ask him"

"Jungkook, you know I've tried over more than ninety times calling and texting him but he wouldn't answer any."

"I know Y/N but have you tried asking any of his family members? Like his sister in law...which you are more close with from his family."

"I don't know..I don't know what to ask her. She might not know about all this. I just don't want to trouble her"

"well she might have heard the news"

"Maybe...maybe not"

"Try asking her if you find her somewhere"

"Okay Kooks"

"Hmm..let's go for a walk shall we?"

"Sure...why not. I'll dress up right away. But what about you? Will you not get noticed by the medias?"

"Let's go to a place where there aren't many people then"

"Okay"

And I went to my room and dressed up. I wore a black hoodie and black pants and paired it with black puma sneakers.

I went downstairs immediately after I was done.

"I'm done. Sorry for making you wait"

"It's okay. I was reading and replying to my texts anyway"

"Ohhh kay"

We then reached the place Jungkook had chose for us.
We ate some ice cream first then went to a big mall.

We tried shoes and glasses and everything that was for trial.

Jungkook went to buy us some chocolates.

I was walking through a store near the bridal section and I paused when I spotted Taehyung...........with Jieun. So many questions were running through my mind. I then finally realised why were they going into the bridal shop. Him and her...together. it was then I saw a ring on her left ring finger. It now hit my mind that the reason why Tae indirectly dumped me is that they're getting married. I now realised everything.
I, without any hesitation went towards them and held Taehyung's arm. He turned around and saw me.

I questioned him with teary eyes,
"why Taehyung? Why?"

He also stared at me like he felt guilty but he didn't say anything.

I continued, "If this was what you want then you could've told me... that you still loved her."

"Y/N look what I got for us-"
Jungkook also stopped when he saw this. Looking at his face it seemed like he also had many questions and some regrets.

"I-" Taehyung started.

Jieun kept silent the whole time. What is wrong with her? I looked at her and she smirked at me.

"Tae..no need to explain this to them. She already know now..oh I mean they"

She raised her left hand up and showed us her ring finger.

"By the way, why is Jungkook with Y/N? Are you both dating too?"

I turned my back away from them and stared to run. I heard footsteps running after me.
I was going to walk down the stairs when suddenly a pair of hands gripped on my hands and stopped me.

I with tears flowing down my face turned and looked around to see Taehyung...holding my hands.

"Let me go" I said with a broken voice.

"I promise that I won't, Y/N. Please let me explain"

"Let you explain that you're engaged to another woman while you were to me and then leaving me for two weeks and then dump me indirectly and then telling me that you're getting married with Jieun, your ex girlfriend. Damn I've heard enough."

"No..you're wrong. Give me chance to explain will you?"

"Why? You didn't give me a chance so why would I? Prince Kim Taehyung."

"Y/N please..I beg you"

"Okay I'll give you a chance to explain everything but after I'll disappear for two weeks and then reappearing with a ring on my left ring finger and also with my fiance"

"Y/N-"

"Hyung. Let her go." Jungkook interrupted him.

"I-"

"Tae hyung let her go"

And he lets me go.

I quickly ran down the stairs but I heard footsteps following behind me.

I was going to go inside the lift when somebody pushed me inside with his hand on my mouth. He presses some button and the elevator closed.

He removed his hand from my mouth and said,

"Hey."

I didn't look up because by his voice I knew who he was : Taehyung.

"Please Y/N look at me." He pleaded.

"Why should I?" I directly say.

"I need to tell you everything until this ride is over. The first floor's a long way down."

"Okay just do it" I finally gave in.

For my own good.

15 minutes later.

The elevator opened and we were faced by Jungkook and Jieun.

Taehyung turned and softly glanced at me, he gave me smile. While he was side hugging Jieun and leaving.

I smiled at him too.

I, on the other hand was pulled away by Jungkook to a park. He made me sit. He said to me,
" hey I'm sorry I didn't come after you"

"No. It's okay Jungkook. The ride at the elevator was worth tho."

And I smiled.
