Chapter 29

Taehyung's POV

Beep!

Beep!

Beep!

"Ugh who would call me at this moment?"

I looked at the screen and it was my cousin, Eunji.

"Ye-"

"Wake up sleepy head, idiot is Jieun at home?"

"I don't know"

"Search her for me will you?"

I searched for her everywhere in the whole castle.

"Nope. She's not here. Gillie said that she went outside a while ago."

"Oh then the person I saw is definitely her."

"Where did you see her?"

"I came for shopping and then I saw her, with a boy, going towards a cafe"

"A boy?! Tell me who was he. They may be making plans against us together. "

"Hold on I'm following them"

"Are you there yet?"

"Yes" she whispered quietly.

"Why are you being so quiet man? speak a little louder"

"You stupid dumbass, if I speak loud people will hear us, they will hear us. I just saw the boy and you won't believe me when I tell you"

"Who?
Tell me fast
Who is the mystery man?"

"Your best friend, Jeon Jungkook"

Y/N's POV

"Here's your coffee Miss Y/N-ah"

"Thank you, Minjun"

I dranked the whole cup of coffee in one shot and fixed back my eyes on the screen.

We were doing an advertisement scene and the director told me to direct them while he went home to get his wife, who was pregnant, to hospital.

"Okay. Take this and cut. I think we're done for today" I said.

"Well, thank you so much" the crew said, tired.

"No problem guys. Listen let's keep a party tomorrow night in order to congragulate our dear director and his wife who have just got a boy, he called me and told me."

"Yeah that would be great!" everybody excalimed.

"I know right. Let's get starting shall we?"

And we cleaned and decorated the auditorium room the whole afternoon.

That evening

"Bye guys thank you for everything"

"No problem Ma'am. Bye"

And I left my company.
As I was walking, I heard the sound of footsteps behind me.

I turned around to see, the masked man.

"You came again after a long while"

"Yeah I was busy."

"Busy huh?"

"Yeah. So what did I miss on?"

There was silence between us for a minute.

"Everything. Let's get some coffee eh? I'll tell ya everything in details"

......

"Okay bye. See you maybe very soon and good luck with your plans."

"Haha thanks. Bye and see you around too."

I reached home around 7. The door was already opened. I smiled expecting him. But there was no one. Usually my dog used to greet me, but today there was not a single sound except mine. I searched and found my dog, sleeping upstairs. I sighed a relief but I thought to myself 'why would he sleep at this hour?' Strange. I put my hand under his nose. He wasn't breathing!
I ran hurriedly downstairs to look
For my phone to call the veterinary doctor.  I opened my bedroom to see everything laid out. The clothes were lying everywhere. I checked my drawer. Nothing was there. I just got robbed! At this point I did not care about the roberry and called the veterinary doctor. She came fast and checked my dog. She put injection on him.

"Thank goodness! You called on time otherwise we might have lost him"

"What happened to my dog, doc?"
I asked worriedly.

"Someone poisoned him, miss Y/N. But now he's fine and he'll wake up anytime soon"

"Thank you for saving his life. I can't thank enough"

"It's okay. We're friends"

"Can I use the toilet?" She asked.

"Yeah of course it's the last room on the left side."

"Okay thank you"

She kept down the coffee mug and went.

"Miss Y/N!!!" She screamed.
I immediately ran towards her and asked what's wrong.

"Did you know that you just got robbed?!! Look at all your clothes lying on the floor. We must tell the police. They must've poisoned your dog too!"

"Calm down Dr Renee. Yes I know I have been robbed"

"Where are your security guards?"

"I told them not to come today cause I didn't know this would happen"

"You should always be careful. Put your securities with you always. This whole neighbourhood is filled with celebrities like you. It'll be easy to be a target of the robbers."

"Hmmm.. I should've done that"

"Now miss let's go and complain about the robbery to the police incase if it happens again"

"Yea.  Thanks for reminding me"

Taehyung's POV

"Jeon Jungkook. I need to talk to you"

Yes I waited for him outside his studio.

"Don't scare me like that. What are you doing here?"

"Let's get to the point shall we?"

"What point hyung?"

"What were you doing with Jieun?"

"How did you-?"

"Be straight forward and answer me. I know what's going on between you two. "
