Chapter 24

JUNGKOOK POV

"What? JungKook I can't hear you."
Y/N said.

'Thank God she didn't hear...I have to lie now. I think that she didn't hear because of the loud bell in the hall'
"Oh nothing Y/N. Let's go enjoy the party shall we? It's been a while since we didn't talk"

"But-"
"But what?"
"I need to find Taehyung first. I haven't seen him the whole day"
"Okay then he must be at the party besides people might be searching for us. Let's go Y/N we can find Taehyung at the party"

"Okay then." And she smiled.

Then we went downstairs to the hall. We saw our group of friends waving us. I hold Y/N's hand and took her to them.

Taehyung's POV

"......Listen I don't want to talk anymore, Y/N must be waiting for me."

"Don't worry babe..I fixed Jungkook for that. We can relax and talk for more longer" Jieun said.

"You did what?"

"Well I needed you for today so..I told Jungkook to take care of her. She'll be fine...for now"

"I swear if you hurt her I'm gonna s-"

"Taehyung you're forgetting aren't you?"

"Curse you for that"

"Well it's your fault"

'Why do I have to be stuck with this shit in my birthday? Gosh I wonder what Y/N must be thinking..mostly I hope she's okay'

Y/N'S POV

It's been a more than five hours and I haven't seen Taehyung. What is he doing on his birthday? Where is he? The party is almost getting over.

"Our Royal Highness thanks all the people for coming to his birthday party. He couldn't meet all his guests because he had a sudden stomach ache and had to be in the emergency room for the half of his party and he sends his apology for that. He said that he's fine and will go to every guests house and deliver the return gift when he gets well."
One of his guards read out from a sheet of paper.

I feel very bad that I didn't get to see him on his birthday. What a day! I wanted to go to him and comfort him, but I think he needs to rest now so I won't go anymore.

Looking at the stairs that led to his room I whispered, "goodnight Tae"

"Y/N come on I'll drop you home" Jungkook said.

"I hope that it won't be a burden to you"

"Of course not Y/N. Let's go..Taehyung will be okay"

"Hmmmm"

He opened his car door for me.
"Thank you Jungkook-ssi"

"It's okay, it's my duty BTW just call me Jungkook. Don't be so formal with me"

"Okayy Jeon Jeongguk, prince of Busan"

"now you know the way Y/N~~~~"

"Of course I do now" and we both laughed. Then he also sat on his seat and drove me to my place.
I thanked him again. When I was going to unlock my security gate he said,"Y/N let's meet up tomorrow..I need to know more about you and Taehyung"

"Umm sure..okay. What time? "

"Hmm..how about 3 o clock?"

"Sounds good. Bye good night" I said.

"Bye. Good night" he replied and drove away.

My smile then turned into a sad one...for not getting to see Taehyung today. And that too on his freaking birthday. I went into my room like a zombie, changed into my pajamas, gave Ten his dinner but he didn't eat because my guard must have gave him a lot of snacks while taking care of him..I then drifted off to sleep in my peaceful bed.

TAEHYUNG POV

I tried to text Y/N to apologise but this Jieun kept my phone to herself.

Y/N-ah I'm so sorry.
