I just went out searching for the magic golden flower as I always do. But apparently the queen is sick and needs the flower! Of course I tried to hide it, but when I ran away to hide my lantern hit the fake bush that I had placed over the flower and made it fall over and the soldiers found it. It healed the queen and she had a beautiful baby with golden magic hair. THEY STOLE MY FLOWER! And now the power is in the babie's hair!! I snuck into the castle tonight and tried to cut the hair to use its magic but as soon as I cut it the hair turned brown and lost its power. I soon realized that if I wanted the power then I would have to take it. So I stole the child and used her power and I feel so young!

Rapunzel's Diary
Mommy taught me a song today for me to sing while she is brushing my magic hair, when I sing it, it makes her younger. I asked her why I couldn't go outside and she said that the outside world is too dangerous and that I must stay up here in the tower where I am safe. Today is my birthday and I just snuck to the window and watched these things that look like stars float up in the sky. This happens every night on my birthday. I wish that I could go to the castle and see them there.

I am soooooo bored. Mother is gone again and I have NOTHING to do! Pascal and I have been trying to find things to do, we have played chess, made candles, finished the chores, ballet, sewed dresses, painted on the walls and read the same three books twice! Oh it's mother.

So far my plan has gone perfectly Rapunzel and I have a good normal mother/daughter relationship and she is clueless. I cannot believe how well my genius plan is working.

I just asked mother if she would take me to see the floating lights tomorrow night since it's my 18th birthday tomorrow and she said no and to never ask to leave the tower again. I just can't believe it!! What is she so afraid of!! She says that they are just stars but I know that they arent, they are connected to me in some way in just know it!
