I promised y'all this a long time ago, and I finally got around to writing it. I am SO sorry for the delay. lel
"Matthew, Stephanie, Chris, Jason..." Nessa looked into the camera with a meaningful look in her eyes. "Any other unfortunate viewers at home..." Holy...did she know I was pregnant?? No. No way. How could she? I'd kept it a secret so well... "I'd recommend closing your eyes."
I didn't want to. I couldn't explain it, but I wanted to see with my own two eyes that the bastard who was responsible for almost making my entire world implode and crumble in on itself was going to breathe his last. I wanted him to look at that screen and see me staring right back at him, waiting for his eyes to glaze over, for him to drop to the ground.
That was the least he deserved. She should've made him suffer for longer, to be honest. Made him beg for his life. Made him feel helpless, like he made me feel helpless. But I would settle for the way she ever so slowly pressed the knife into his skin, applying merely incremental amounts of pressure until she finally drew blood, and then dragging her knife across his throat. Slowly. Like she had all the time in the world.
With the way she held him still with that chain, she probably did.
I watched as the blood started dripping down from his neck, down his chest, staining a previously off-white shirt a rich crimson, and it kept dripping down, straight to the ground. I watched as it started flooding his airways, and he began to convulse as he coughed up even more blood. He sounded like he was laughing, as if he was enjoying this.
He wouldn't in a while, and I waited for that dread to sink into him. For the realization to cross his face that he wasn't going to last the next five minutes. It did. I heard him say a "No." And then what sounded like a cut of "Please" before he started going limp and dropping towards the ground. When I was satisfied that he was good and gone, that he would never bother my family again, I closed my eyes. No one needed to know that I'd watched him breathe his last.

A/N: Okay, this is a really short scene, but I really only wanted to cover the scene where Nessa killed Wraith through Steph's eyes. And it felt super weird writing Steph this darkly because I probably broke like fifteen hundred rules of GTLive Fanfic Writing 101, but it still felt kinda cool doing it. Again, it's not perfect, but I love it anyway.
The final parts of SMP, which is essentially just a retelling of the events through Matthew's eyes, are almost done, so expect more updates for this story soon.
