Chris POV
"I'd recommend closing your eyes." I did. I heard the sounds of a man choking on something, like someone filled him to the brim with some liquid and his body was spitting it back out. Then I heard someone hit the ground from the screen.
I heard shuffling next, and then ropes being moved about, and then the sound of something heavy being dragged by someone across the floor.
"Who are you?" I heard Matthew ask, his voice hoarse, sounding damaged.
"Nobody important," Nessa answered.
Liar, I said to myself.

A/N: Just a short update from Chris's eyes. The next update will be told in Jason's perspective and it might stay that way for the next two or three updates, because I'd forgotten to change POVs while writing this bit, so I spent a surprising amount of time telling the story through Jason's eyes. Whoops. Hehe.
