TW: Violence, mention of death

All was quiet in the mind scape for once. Everything was calm and peaceful, just the way the sides liked it. Thomas, Virgil and Patton were all in Thomas's living room watching a movie, well more like Patton and Thomas were watching it. Virgil was just scrolling through his phone, not really paying attention to the film. Logan, Deceit and Roman didn't want to watch the film so they were all enjoying their own activities. Logan was sat in his room, reading his favourite book: "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" as usual whilst sipping a cup of tea that Patton had kindly made for him. Deceit was just slumped on his bed, doing who knows what and as for Roman, well he was the only one not enjoying the peace and quiet.

Unlike the others, Roman liked to live life on the edge and loved adventure. On days like this where everything was still and quiet, he would often slip away to the Imagination and create his own adventures. He would rescue damsels in distress, perform shows for the whole world to see, be the king of a kingdom where all his subjects loved him but most often, he would battle his worst enemy: the Dragon Witch. And today was one of the days where he was going to do just that.

He swung open the golden door leading to the Imagination and, clutching onto his sword, stepped inside. The door immediately slammed shut behind him, making him jump a little bit. Taking in a deep breath, he calmed himself down and mentally prepared himself for battle.

He found himself in what seemed to be a medieval village only it was all in ruins with planks of wood thrown everywhere, houses crumbling to the ground unable to support themselves, yellow, bone dry strands of grass and the whole village was under a blanket of darkness. The only thing remaining was a tall, dark purple castle which Roman knew belonged to the Dragon Witch. She must have been the one who destroyed what was previously been a perfect, joyful, beautiful village. But then again, Dragon Witches destroy everything.

"Show yourself you foul beast!" Roman yelled before hearing a dark chuckle and a rush of cold air.

"Ahhh Prince Roman. Looks like we meet again. Come to fight me?" The Dragon Witch asked with a sneer as she swooped down from her castle and over Roman's head, intending to knock him onto the floor but he was able to duck in time.

"You bet I am" Roman smirked. "And I'll defeat you just like all the times before" He swung his sword at her but she flew higher into the sky, avoiding it.

"Really? And why's that?" She sneered.

"Because I'm stronger than you and you know it. Might as well just give up now"

"Never!" The Dragon Witch smirked as a red hot fire ball sped towards Roman. He quickly dodged out the way, narrowly avoiding it and ran towards the Dragon Witch, his sword close to his chest. Once more, he swung his sword at her, creating a deep gash in her tail. This gash seemed to slow her down a bit but didn't stop her entirely. She swung her tail at Roman and this time, he didn't dodge in time so he was thrown  across the village, hitting what was once someone's home but was now a pile of ash. He quickly stood to his feet, refusing to show weakness. The Dragon Witch flew higher into the sky and this was when Roman realised that he couldn't do this alone and needed help from his trusted sidekick.

Placing two fingers in his mouth, Roman whistled, calling his sidekick. The sky seemed to widen as a blinding white light illuminated the village and a pure white Pegasus swooped down landing on the floor next to Roman. Immediately mounting the Pegasus, Roman whispered directions into its ear and it flew high towards the Dragon Witch. Swinging his sword at her once more, Roman was able to completely detach her wing from the rest of her body, causing her to fall to the ground. As she struggled to fly again, Roman saw his opportunity and swooped down towards her. He plunged his sword into her chest, making her scream out in pain.

"Looks like I've defeated you once and for all" Roman smirked, clearly proud of himself. However, much to his despair, instead of admitting to defeat, the Dragon Witch just chuckled.

"Did you really think it would be that easy to defeat me? Ha. You foolish prince. I shall cast a curse on you and all those close to you. You shall be doomed to burst into song randomly with no control"

Roman just laughed. 'Ha! Is that the best you've got? How is that a curse?"

"Just you wait and see. It won't just be a minor irritation but it will force you all to confess the way you truly feel, turning you on one another. You have exactly 5 days to come and find me and save me before I die otherwise you shall be forced to stay like this for the rest of your lives" Smirking, she dissapeared, leaving a sand timer in her place.

"This must be how much time I have" Roman thought out loud, dismounting the Pegasus and picking up the timer. "Well as much as I'd like to, I can't do this alone. I need help from the others
Besides, it will affect them just as much"

He ran towards the big, golden door and out of the Imagination to find the others. However, when he looked outside the window, it was pitch black and was even quieter than before, the only noises being snores.

"I guess we'll have to start our quest in the morning" Roman muttered. "Besides, a prince needs his beauty sleep"

He head towards his room and flopped down onto his bed, exhausted.

"Don't worry guys. We'll fix this" he mumbled before drifting into a deep, peaceful sleep.
