I groaned as I gently fluttered my eyes open, everything was blurry. I'm...alive? I could barely move a muscle. Everything hurt, yet everything was numb. It was hard to describe. I tried to sit up but failed as it was too painful. I just laid there, in a dark room, alone. Is this how I die?

"Hello is someone there?" A child's voice asked.

I don't know if I should call out or not. But what harm could they do?

     "I could've sworn I heard screaming."

"H-hello." I call out my voice unsteady and hoarse.

"Oh my gosh. Uh, hold on I'll go get help." The child's voice sounded panicked.

"TORIEL!" The child yelled running away.

After about five minutes I heard footsteps return and heard some gasps. I heard talking but I couldn't make out what they were saying or what they looked like. Everything was fuzzy, my hearing, my vision, even the pain. Everything just stopped and I blacked out.

I was walking through an ally way, when a stranger walked up to me. I couldn't make out any of his features because his hood was pulled over his face.

"Hey girly. Needa ride home?" The stranger asked in a deep, gruff voice.

"No thanks I'm good." I replied kindly, trying to hide my fear. I started to walk away but the guy grabbed my arm.

"Oh common." He pulled out a knife.

"Could you at least give me I want?" The stranger asked

"What is that." I asked fearful.

The stranger creepily chuckled. "Your body." The stranger inched closer.

I slowly backed up, scared. I was backed into a wall. The stranger held a knife to my throat. "Now no screaming, and no struggling sweetheart." The stranger hungrily said.

He started sloppily kissing me, his hands rubbing all over me. All I could do is cry. I closed my eyes, trying to imagine being somewhere else. Anywhere but here. It must have worked because I couldn't feel him anymore. It's like he was pulled off of me. I opened my eyes and he was pulled off of me by a tall guy with dirty blonde hair.

The guy had put the stranger in a choke hold. "Now, now, that's not how you treat a lady is it?" The guy threw the stranger and the stranger ran away.

"Hey are you ok?" I could now see the guy had beautiful hazel eyes.

I sniffled. "Yeah I-I'm ok." I nodded.

"I'm Robert." He stuck his hand out.

"I'm Y/N." I shook his hand with a smile.

I jolted up with a gasp. Tears were prickling the corners of my eyes. I go to wipe them only to see my hand was shaking. I took deep breaths trying to calm myself. After a few minutes of silence I started to hear talking in the other room. I couldn't make out what they were saying but as they got closer to the door I could make out some of the conversation.

"... dear... she... wait... okay?" I could make out a woman's voice.

"Mom... wanna... them." I heard a familiar child's voice.

The door opened. A large goat woman, and a small child walked in. Once the goat woman laid eyes on me she gasped. "My child are you alright?"

I nodded. Wait, how was I alright? "How am I alive?"

     "Mom used healing magic."

     Healing magic? "Wow."

     "So your doing good dear?"

     I nod. "I'm Y/N what's your name?"

"Oh my apologies. I am Toriel. This is Frisk." Toriel gestured to the small child, who seemed to be about nine.

"Hi Y/N. I helped saved you." Frisk seemed proud of themselves.

"Oh, wow, uh, thanks. Thank you both."

"There's no need. We like to help people." Frisk smiled.

"How would you like to come join Frisk and I for dinner?" Toriel asked.

"I would love to- wait. Dinner? How long was I out for?"

"Uh. I don't know, a while?" Frisk answered.

"Wow I must've hit my head pretty hard." I put my hand to my head to feel bandages.

"Oh sorry about that dear, you were still bleeding a little after I used my magic, so I wrapped your head up. But you can take them off before you go to bed."

I nodded leaving the bandages alone.

"Now let's eat before dinner gets cold." Toriel headed for the door.

Frisk and I quickly following behind her. We walked out and walked towards the living room. There was table with food set out on it. For Toriel there was a plate of snails, for Frisk and I there was a plate with hotdogs and fries, and for dessert there was butterscotch cinnamon pie.

After eating I laid back in my chair patting my stomach. "That was delicious Toriel, thank you."

"Yeah thanks Mom." Frisk yawned.

"Oh dear it does seem it is kind of late. Would you mind staying the night?" Toriel asked.

"No not at all. I was actually kinda hoping to stay."

"Oh wonderful." Toriel exclaimed.

Frisk grabbed me by the wrist and started to drag me back into the room. I could hear Toriel chuckle as we leave the living room. We walk into a room, I look around. It's a small redish color bedroom. There are two twin sized beds on opposite ends and a dresser up against the wall in-between the two beds. Frisk went to the left side and laid down on the bed. I went to the right and laid down. I gently unwrapped the bandages putting them on the dresser next to me. It was silent for a while until Frisk spoke up.

"If you are okay with it, do you want to come meet my friends tomorrow?"

"If they are as nice as Toriel, then yes." I replied jokingly.

Frisk chuckled. "Yeah."

I yawned. "We should probably get to bed."

When Frisk didn't respond I looked over and they were asleep. I chuckled turning my head to look at the ceiling. I slowly closed my eyes, drifting off into darkness.
