Falling For... A Skeleton? (Sans x Reader)

(Ch.4) Anime

     I woke up and hopped off my bed. I walked to the kitchen, not bothering to take a shower today. As I neared the kitchen I could smell pancakes. I hungrily licked my lips as I dashed towards the room, nearly knocking Frisk down in the process.

"Whoa, sorry Frisk."

"It's fine. What's got you in such a rush?"

"I just really like pancakes." I nervously chuckled while rubbing the back of my neck.

Frisk chuckled, handing me a plate she had in her hands. I thanked her and ran to the table. I hungrily put the butter and syrup on them as Frisk and mom came out of the kitchen sitting at the table with me. We all ate in semi silence.

After breakfast Frisk and I changed into regular clothes, for me that would be a f/c sweater and some shorts. We walked down the large hallways and into Snowdin. We went down this one path that I haven't seen before. There was a boat with a hooded person on it.

     "Tra la la. Where are you traveling?"

     "We are going to Hotland." Frisk answered as we hopped in the boat.

     The boat grew legs(?) and ran(?) to Hotland. What the hell? Once we neared Hotland it got hot quick. I rolled up my sleeves, sweating slightly. The boat came to a halt and Frisk and I got off. Hot land seems to be an arid region. It is covered in reddish-orange dirt and is that lava below?

     We walked up to a huge white building that said lab in big red capital letters. Frisk knocked on the metal door and I could hear shuffling from the inside. I just realized I don't know who I'm meeting. "Hey Frisk, who am I meeting?"

"Alphys, Undyne and probably Mettaton as well. I hope you like anime."

The door opened before I could reply. Standing in the doorway is a small lizard about my height. She is wearing a lab coat. "H-hey Frisk. I-is this y-your n-new friend."

"Yup. This is Y/N."

"Hi Y-Y/N. I-I'm Alphys."

"Nice to meetcha Alphys." I smiled.

Alphys stepped aside and let us in. We were standing in a large room with lime green walls. I could see a tall blue fish woman with bright red hair sitting at a table. When she turned to look in our direction I could see she had a black eyepatch on her left eye.

"Hey Frisk," The fish lady looked at me, speed talking and jumped up pointing a glowing blue spear at my face, "Human I ne-"

"Woah Undyne," Frisk jumped in front of me franticly holding their hands up, "She's a good human like me. We are all friends here."

I was practically shaking as Undyne lowered her spear, glaring at me for a few minutes. She groaned. "Fine. This one last time." Undyne made the spear disappear. "Fuhuh, I think you're making me soft, punk."

Frisk nodded with a small chuckle. Frisk turned back to me and saw me shaking. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah it's just. She's the first to even try to attack me. I guess I'm just a little shaken up. I'll be fine." I reassured with a small smile.

Once I calmed down Undyne apologized and we all got to talking. I found out Undyne and Alphys both like anime but other than that they are polar opposites. Undyne is loud, confident, and passionate. But Alphys, she is quiet, shy, and nerdy. I was pulled out of my thoughts by Undyne.

"Hey punk. Do you wanna watch some awesome anime?" Undyne asked.

"Sure. What are we watching?"

"W-we are watching M-Mew Mew Ki-Kissy Cutie."

"Huh, never heard of it."

"O-oh do-don't worry. It's r-really good."

"I'll go make the popcorn." Undyne announced running to the kitchen, fist pumping the air.

"I'll go make sure she doesn't burn it again." Frisk ran after Undyne.

Alphys and I chuckled. Well Undyne has personality, I'll give her that. Once they got back we all sat at the wooden table with the popcorn in the middle. Then Alphys played the anime on the large screen infront of us.

Once we watched about six episodes and ate almost a full bowl of popcorn Frisk and I decided we should leave. Alphys was right it was a good anime. We waved Alphys and Undyne goodbye and walked up to the lab door. Until suddenly.

"OH ALPHYS DARLING." A robotic voice yelled.

Frisk and I turned around just in time to see a robot burst through the wall. (And by that I mean he literally, bursted through the wall. He left a hole.) What the hell. Wait wasnt that the robot that was on tv a few chapters ago... I mean...

"Frisk who is that?" I whispered.

"Mettaton." Frisk whispered back.

     "DAMN IT METTATON NOW I NEED TO FIX THE WALL FOR ALPHYS AGAIN!"

     "U-Undyne I keep te-telling you, y-you don't have t-to."

The robot turned around. I could see he has black hair with a long fringe that seems to cover his right eye. He is pale and has visible metal segments below and above his left eye. He has a pink chest piece, a narrow metallic waist, and long arms, which end in gloves. He is also wearing hot pink heels? Ok then.

"Ooh, Frisk darling. Who is your new friend." Mettaton purred.

"This is Y/N."

Mettaton strutted over and bent down to my height. He seemed to be studying me as he held out a hand. "I am Mettaton the Underground's star." Mettaton exclaimed while posing.

I chuckled and grabbed his hand. "Yeah I saw your cooking show on the other day."

"Oh really? Did you like it?"

"Yeah it was interesting." I lied slightly. I wasn't really paying attention to the tv.

"That's great darling. Well I got what I came here for. So I'll see you later." Mettaton strutted out of the lab.

Well that was interesting to say the least.
