As I walked a bit further from camp I reached the lake. Being sure no one was around, I got down on my knees close to the lake's edge within the shade and created some mist. I then reached into my pocket and pulled out a gold drachma, tossing it into the mist I quietly chanted "Oh iris, Goddess of the rainbow please accept my offering. Let me speak to Luke." The mist then vanished leaving a projected window which allowed me to see and talk to luke. When the window had appeared luke became startled and jumped back a bit before looking into the projection. When I saw him my heart began to beat heavily, "Luke! I've missed you so much!" Luke's face lit up , "I've missed You too Julia. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to visit, You know how difficult it is". I sighed, "Yeah I know. It's fine I understand. I just really wish you weren't so far." He sighed, looking off to the side not giving me his full attention. "Luke?" I called out, "Are you listening to me?" He quickly snapped his attention back to the call " Yeah. I'm sorry babe I have to go. I'll come see you soon just hang in there." I started to argue "But-" Luke gave me a quick stare with his piercing blue eyes, signaling me to end my sentence. "I love you Julia, Goodbye." With that last sentence hanging in the air the iris message vanished and I sat there questioning what had happened. It may not have been the best call in the whole world but at least I was able see him. I sighed and stood up, brushing the dirt from my jeans. I still thought through the call in my head as I made my way back to my cabin. It was beginning to get dark out.
