Sorry About That

"Jaehyun wake up I have news!" Koeun said as she sat beside me on my bed. I then sat up slowly and rubbed my eyes.

"It's so early Koeun-ah what is it?" I asked her and she looked at me seriously. I got scared for a second but prepared for anything she was gonna tell me.

"So here I go... Grandma is coming to mom and dad's business party later." she told me and I my shoulders dropped.

"And why is that important to me?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes.

"Jae mom and dad told me that we have to come later." she said and my jaw dropped.

"But I don't want to see her manipulative ass! I've seen her enough in the US." I told her as I stood up to change into more presentable clothes.

"Jae we have no choice. As the one's to take over in the future it's our business to be their." she explained and I sighed loudly.

"I kniw Koeun but if she's gonna be their I'd rather not be the heir to our business." I told her and she showed a sad face.

"Please Jae. We can go through the party without talking to her for a long time. Plus Mark and Taeyong will be there." she said and my face lit up. "Damn Jae you really are whipped for him. Just saying his name can make your face light up like that?" I threw my pyjamas at her and she chased me doen the stairs.

"Koeun I'm going to jog for a while and think about the situation with our fucked up grandma." I told her and she sighed but nodded. Honestly you might think I'm being mean to my grandma but no she really is manipulative as fuck. When my mom and dad were still young and dating each other she used to send guards for my mom to be kept away from dad, but after my dad proved himself she finally accepted him. Another thing I hate about her is the fact that when I was in the US she always meddled in with my life like she really cares. The truth is she just wants to know if I'm capable to the next leader of the family business. I jogged through the streets and as I was thinking I didn't notice a dog jump at me. I fell to the ground with the dog on top of me and I tried getting him off but he won't budge.

"Kae get off!" I heard a lady shiut and the dog obeyed.

"Are you ok?" she asked me as she helped me stand up.

"Wow your dog is aggressive." I told her and she giggled. " I'm sorry about that I'm still training her. She then touched my face and I flinched. She must have touched a bruise.

"Oh gosh you got a bruise!" she exclaimed as she got her water bottle and placed it on my bruise. What is this girl doing? I was about to ask her to forget my bruise and that I'll get going but I saw Taeyong and Mark jogging ahead. Taeyong's sudden change of expression got me nervous as he and Mark approached us.

"Jaehyun goodmorning!" Mark said with a grin on his face as he glanced at his brother. I closed my eyes nervously as I sensed his jealousy coming out. The girl held her bottle close to her and looked at the two.

"Hi do you know him? I'm sorry I kinda got into an accident with him but don't worry the bruise is only small and also I can take care of him if he needs further help." she said and Taeyong looked at me.

"Is that so?" he asked the girl and she nodded. He then walked to my side and pulled me close to him. I turned my head to him and shook my head thinking about the possibilities of what he can do to me. He then grabbed the back of my neck pulling me closer to him and gave me a quick peck. I smiled shyly after and he kissed my forehead before looking at the girl.

"Look lady I know you're trying to flirt with him cause obviously he's to die for. Handsome, talented, caring but also gay. Sorry about that." Taeyong said and held my hand to leave. Mark caught up with us and he was laughing.

"That was amazing! Why the hell are you exposing your gayness to random people?" Mark asked Taeyong and he sighed.

"Jae is just too handsome for everyone. I can't help but tell them that he's mine." he said and Jaehyun raised an eyebrow.

"Woah who the hell said I'm your property?" Jaehyun asked and Mark giggled. Taeyong walked away then completely ignoring Jaehyun.

"Mark are you going to the business party later?" I asked him and he nodded with a smile.

"It's the first time dad is allowing me to drink with him." he said excitedly and I smiled at him.

"Is Koeun coming too?" he asked me and I nodded.

"Hey Mark let me tell you something. Koeun is really like in love with you I hope you know that. If you ever hurt her she's totally gonna be crushed and you are physically going to be crushed to because I will literally do everything it takes for you to feel the pain she's going through, but of course that is only gonna happen if you hurt her." I told him and he grinned and stopped me from walking and made ma face him.

"Jaehyun if that's what you're gonna do then know this. If you ever hurt my brother I will obviously do the same to you." he said and continued walking. I caught up with him and smacked his head playfully.

"Idiot I'm sure you love Koeun and I'm sure that I will never hurt your brother." I told him and he laughed. We then fastened our pace and reached the convenience store. Taeyong was there with 3 sausages in hand raised in the air.

"What took you two so long?" he asked us and Mark and I sat beside him. He gave us sausages and we ate as we talked about how annoying business parties are.

The whole time I was thinking about how I would handle the presence of my controlling grandma. I can already imagine her telling me to greet people I don't even know. She is just so irritating.
