Freshman Feelings

Chapter Four

        So this is a late update and I am truly sorry but here it is! Enjoy and please don't be a stranger and comment, vote, and follow me!!!

       

         "Amber I.... I wanted to tell you that... well that.." I hesitated.

        "Adalee spit it out already! What about my brother?!?" Amber screamed.

        "I well... he... we...." I couldn't get it out I was so afraid of how she would respond.

        "What!!!!" She demanded.

        "Me and your brother.. well we wanted to throw you a surprise birthday party and I know how much you hate surprises and so I wanted to tell you but now it isn't a surpise anymore and now if he finds out he'll get angry but you are my bestfriend----." I said rapidly.

        Amber cut me off, "Adalee calm down.. its okay! I dont like surprises you're right and thank you for telling me because I would have freaked out and I won't tell anyone and I  will promise to act surprised okay?" She said laughing under her breath.

         I nodded shocked that she believed my lie. Now me and Ashton really have to throw her an actual party.

        I excused myself from our conversation and emerged into the large group of drunk teens. The loud music erupted through my head when I walked out of the quiet back bedroom. Walking through the hallway I passed multiple couples making out intensley. One couple looked as if they were about to strip bare in the middle of my hallway. I shuddered at the thought and kept walking.

        As I made my way up the stairway I looked down at the red velvet stairs just in case my idiot of a brother Ronnie was still lecturing Ashton. Poor guy, I really did feel bad that Ronnie was scolding him for something Ronnie wasn't even a part of. In the midst of my thoughts I rammed into someone coming down the stairs. The minute they bumped into me my small figure nearly flew down the stairs. A small scream escaped my throat as I felt my feet come ungrounded with the cushioned stairs. I braced myself for the painful contact with the many stairs beneath me. I felt a firm hand grip my lower back and hoist me up into their arms. I opened my tightly shut eyes and smiled when I saw a pair of crystal blue eyes boring into mine.

        Giggling I stood up steadily with Ashton's arm still tightly wrapped around my waist. I knew how strong my feelings were for him and I kmew that they were dangerous feelings due to the fact that his little sister was my best friend. I didn't want to hurt Amber but I wanted to be with Ashton. I know its supposed to be hoes before bros but I want to have the best of both world's if only for a little while.

        Ashton pulled me away from all of my thoughts and worries by pulling me away from the party and back into the calmness of my dark room. He pulled me over to the middle of my room and he fell on his back cushioned by my bed. Falling on top of him our lips locked and I felt as if time froze in place.

        We were fighting for breath after only a few minutes. Our foreheads rested against each others I. Iaughed and his warm lips crashed onto mine once more. He bit my lip playfully asking for acceptance. His wish was granted and my lips parted just enough for him to slip his tounge inside. I felt the butterflys in my stomach errupt and he smiled. I didn't see him smile but I rather felt him smile as our lips were still locked together as if we had no intentions of finding the key.

        After a while we laid side by side on my bed cuddling. Not kissing, just cuddling. No words, no sound, just silent, peaceful, cuddling. The party had died out about and hour or two ago but Ashton didn't bother leaving. Tonight was the last night of summer break and I was going to enjoy it. Tomorrow morning I would wake up early and I wanted Ashton to be right there with me when I wake up. And he would be.  

        "Will you stay tonight?" I asked in a hushed tone not wanting to brake the peaceful silence.

        "Always."

        I smiled and snuggled into the crook of his arm. His strong arm pulled me in closer and rested on my small waist. I closed my eyes and fell asleep listening to his heart beat slowly.
