XVIII : Announcement

☙ Eunha's POV

"Woah! So tired!" I exclaimed as I dramatically lay down on the floor as soon as the choreographer exited the practice room. "I'm so hungry too~"

Sinb lay on top of me. "You lazy kid~ We still have a lot things to do."

Everyone chuckled as they rest as well. It was our fourth day for dance practice and we had already finalized the choreography and formations. We are currently practicing to perfect it.

We have to maintain our 'GodFriend' image afterall.

I chuckled at the thought. I'm super hype today since I am way too inspired.

Yesterday was magical. From the food to my date, everything was wonderful. He made me feel special and just the thought of him quenches my thirst of love.

He's a good friend. I'm so thankful to have him in my life~

Sowon unnie and Umji were preparing our lunches on the table when the choreographer entered the room with Mr. Kim our manager and the CEO, Mr. So.

Why is he here? Is he going to announce something? Is it that important?

We stood up and formed a line. "Annyeonghaseyo~" We greeted in union and bowed.

They also greeted us and just raised a hand.

"Okay, girls. Mr. CEO is going announce something." Mr. Kim said.

We looked at each other with questioning looks on our faces. The CEO rarely visits us and if he did, it's something important.

Perhaps about our incoming album?

Mr. So hid his hands on the back. "The Smart Uniform Company contacted us to make Gfriend their brand endorsers."

Grins are visible on our faces.

An endorsement, yes!!!

"But you guys won't be alone." He added. "You will be with Bangtan Sonyeondan, the nation's Bangtan Boys."

We were shocked. Our eyes were widening and from the corner of my eyes, I saw my manager looked down with a sigh before looking at our choreographer. He signaled her to go out for a while.

After she left, the CEO looked at us one by one before continuing. "I know almost all of you are dating them and great friends with them. It's okay. I have no problem with that, but you girls have to be careful. There will be a MV shooting-"

"Music Video?!" We unconsciously exclaimed in union. My heart hummed in joy.

Our manager glared at us and we apologized. "Yes. A Music Video, a song and a dance for it. Aside from the photoshoots of course." Mr. So paused. "I want you girls to be conscious and behave of your actions. A lot cameras will be there. May I remind you that you just debuted a year ago and even though you are quite known already, a dating controversy with a popular kpop group can be one of your downfall."

The atmosphere suddenly became heavy and tense. I know all of us is prevent it from happening. We didn't train for years just for nothing and we don't want to waste it. Especially now that we are branded as one of the best girl group of the new generation.

The girls and I are in deep thoughts when the Mr. Kim coughed and cleared his throat. We automatically look at them.

Mr. So smiled. "I want you to call it a day for today. Rest all you want. Tomorrow will be the recording and dance practice for the endorsement song. We will continue the practice for your comeback after the filming in a week." He nodded. "Arasseo?"

"Neh." We responded in union but in a low tone.

Mr. Kim glared at us. "The CEO can't hear you!"

"Neh!"

"I hope we understand each other, girls. It's for the best." Mr. So said before heading out of the room, leaving Mr. Kim with us.

"You fatsos are making loud noises again. The floor might break because of your dance." He said without any expressions on his face.

Sinb placed her hands on her waist as she stood in front of him. "Yah! You know how hard our choreographies." She playfully rolled her eyes.

"Yeah. As if you just knew now." Yerin unnie said, crossing her arms.

We were all complaining.

I fake a chuckle. "Must be the aging process."

"Exactly, unnie. An ahjussi will always be an ahjussi." Umji added.

Sowon unnie waved her hand. "Ani. He is already a grandfather."

We laughed as he glared at us. "Ice creams are banned in the dorm."

We whined and playfully kneel down in front of him. This kind of scene is no longer new to us.

Mr. Kim is our main manager. He had been with us since trainee days. He always call us 'fatsos' and 'ugly ducklings' as a joke and kind of his way of showing his care to us. Even though he always show his mean side to us, we know deep down he loves us like we are his real daughters.

But heh, we won't let him bully us all the way~

"I will massage you for two for free! Just let us eat ice cream, ahjussi~" Umji begged.

Mr. Kim just shook his head. "I already have a massage chair at home."

I raised a hand. "I will make mixed noodles for you~ You know it's my expertise. Right, girls?" I wiggled my shoulders.

They just nodded while still kneeling down. The manager just shrugged.

"I don't wanna to eat some noodles stuff right now." He said while tapping his shoulders.

"So sad." I pouted.

Yuju raised her hand as well. "How about fried chicken dipped in chocolate sauce?"

There was silence. All of us were looking at Yuju.

"What?" She asked.

"Does the sauce have some minced garlic and onions?" Mr. Kim asked.

Yuju excitedly nodded her head. "And some lime juice."

"I'm in." He muttered that made us all shock except for them.

We were teasing how weird they both are and laughed so hard, but in my mind, I was thinking of Jungkook.

A day with him tomorrow~ I can't wait!
