I said it. I said yeah. wow I never thought I would want to date in an apocalypse. it's weird to think that I am dating Carl. I mean don't get me wrong he's hot and all but I thought no one would want to date me. I mean I don't have blonde beautiful hair or a beautiful figure. I have dark red hair and a messed up body. I like basketball not cheerleading. I play Call Of Duty not Candy Crush. I'm not like others. well it's 10 am by the looks of it and I'm waiting for Carl to come back outside. we slept in the watch tower last night because Daryl didn't feel like taking his watch. He came outside and kissed my cheek. I blushed and bit my lip. GOD, WHY DOES HE HAVE THIS AFFECT ON ME!!!  GGGAAAAHHHHH!!!!¡¡¡¡

We started to talk about life before this shit. "I volunteered her at the prison for money and I played basketball on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. " "cool I didn't do much I played video games" He said making me giggle. "I played video games too. like minecraft, call of duty, skyrim and lots more" I said happy to remember a year ago "although I didn't get a lot of free time with basketball and volunteering and my dad not being there so I had to help with cooking and taking ca-" I was cut off by Carl kissing me. I was taken back at first but then I started to kiss back. soon it turned into a full on make out session.

"ahhem parent here" Rick said causing us to pull apart "sorry sir" I said standing up. "it's fine but if I catch you again I kick you out" I was scared "I'm kidding jeez did you see the look on your face" Rick said laughing.

"good I thought you were for real I was scared" I said sitting down next to Carl again. "ok lovebirds just came to ask you if you could be on watch for two hours" "um Ya we could" Carl said looking at me "ok kids no funny business " then Rick left us alone. again. we walked up to the tower in silence.

"Sooo um what do you wanna do" I said awkwardly.  "this" Carl said before kissing me. I kissed back of course. we both pulled away breathless. I got up and walked to the ledge swinging my legs on down. Carl walked over and sat down putting his arm on my waist. I leaned my head on his shoulder while we watched the walkers in front of the gate.

I heard a low rumble come from down the road. I saw a car come into view so I pulled carl into the base of the tower. I heard a loud bang and saw debris start to fall down at us. "duck down carl cover your head" I yelled over the bullets. "it's my dad he's at it again"
