It had been 2 weeks and everything was not going the way it should have.

Word had gotten out that Leo was now dead and there was a new leader.
Yet the identity of the leader, me, was kept hidden.

I clearly wasn't ready for this, and I kept thinking what Leo had said 'it will drive you crazy', and I knew what he meant.

I can't go a minute without someone coming in with a problem.

I sat down and pulled out my phone looking at my notes. I have done everything except for one thing. Which was to talk to the Italian Mafia.

Creating a meeting with him would practically be impossible.
Reaching Hunter was a job no one could do.
You would have to get in touch with some of his men first.

There was one idea in my head..10% sure it would work.
But I couldn't see another way to meet him.

I had gotten some of my team to contact his men but there was no response from them.

So the only option was to go their main base and hope for the best.
It does sound stupid but no one would dare to do it, so he wouldn't turn me down..
Right?

His men could kill me before I even meet him and that's why I need a actual plan.
We have to make peace even though it's the worst idea and probably not going to work. It was Leo's last wish.

After everything he's done for me, I have to respect it.

I got out of my office and took a deep breath, running a hand through my hair.
I should let everyone know that I'm going to meet him soon.

I looked around and my eyes landed on the main hacker, Dimitri.
Me and him were extremely close, he was like a brother to me. Walking up to him, I stood beside him, staring at the view in front of me.

"Yes"
He spoke looking down at his clipboard.
I raised a brow at his flat tone but avoided it.

He was older than me and always the bossy one.
His brown hair was gelled back and i furrowed my brows at it.

"Putting gel on your greasy hair doesn't make it look good"
I stated while he smirked.

"Keeping a frown on your face doesn't make you look scary"
He snorted back and i rolled your eyes.

"Tell everyone to go outside I need to speak to them"

"Sure. But don't be nervous, remember we all trust you now and know you can be a good leader"
He winked, patting my shoulder before walking away.

I dusted off the part he touched before also walking away.

They all gathered outside and I took a deep breath.
My first meeting, I need to start acting like I'm in charge.
Like Dimitri said, I shouldn't be nervous.

It was bound to happen once.

"As you know I'm your leader now ever since Leo left us..."
All the eyes were just on me and I made sure to look at each.

"It's all been hell, you can tell I was never ready for something so big. It was never my intention to stand here and give a speech to Leo's family. I know haven't been here the longest, but I can tell you that Leo didn't put me second in command for nothing.

He did this because he knew I would be able to do it. And get rid of my fear of being alone and lost. As I said before his promise will be respected, later today I will got to the Italian mafia and try my best to end this. If anyone has a problem with this keep it to your self"
I gave a small nod before connecting eyes with Dimitri who had his usual smirk on his face.
