The Morning

I felt someone touching my face. I knew who it was but I like it when he does cute stuff like this. I felt a pair of lips on my forehead. "Time to get up." His voice said. I smile. "I don't wanna." Truth is I woke up 10 minutes early and brushed my teeth and wash my face. I just like being with him. "Fine I'm going to the bathroom, you have exactly 5 minutes or else," he fell on top of me. I kept eyes closed but I knew my face was red. He kissed my neck softly and bit it."I will wake you up my way. And you may not like it all the way." He said while sucking on my neck some more. I moaned quietly and he heard it. "Or you just might." He whispered in my ear,and got off of me. I quivered with joy. I heard the bathroom door get shut and I decided it was time to get dress. What did I want to wear though? I looked in my closet and saw various choices. Mostly dresses since that's what we wear here. But I didn't want one of those fancy ones. I wanted a casual one. I may be the princess but I don't want to be always so formal around everyone. It's too much for me. I finally decided on a short white dress that had a gold rim at the end. in the middle was a belt with a red ruby. I had  to say the outfit was coming along just nicely. "Now what shoes." I thought out loud the golden sandals would be a perfect choice." I jumped at the voice behind me. "My you scared me. Thank goodness I didn't change yet." He headed for my door. "To be honest I hoped you would be still in bed. Oh well I'll save my plans for another time." He said and smirked his famous trademark smirk. Once out of my room I clutched the dress and swooned onto my bed. I had only hoped for a life like this. The life where I important and special in everyone's eyes. 19 years finally payed off. If you have seen what I've been through the past year and as a child you might say I kinda deserve this. Maybe not the  royal part but the relationship is well deserved.

I slipped on the dress and realized it was kinda shorter than I imagined but for my home it was okay. I slipped on the sandals and began walking to the hallway.

I wanted to see if he wanted to have breakfast on the beach so I made my way toward his room which was two floors below me. "Morning Girl!' Rouge said to me as I passed by her. "Hey Rouge, how you been this morning." She shrugged. "Nothing much just got done doing a perimeter check just outside the village," She sighed "I tried walking at first but got tired. Thank god for wings. Any way the new portal systems seems to be working well." The Portal Simulation System or P.S. Systems was something we installed because we realized we couldn't just leave Earth to it's doom and we found out not all the residents that live here are from here,so we installed a few dozens around the planet. Turns out not only do I owe a kingdom but the whole freaking planet. Any who it's about a 12 dollar fee per person but plenty affordable to go back and forth. "No technical problems?" I asked. "Hell should I know, like I said it seemed. Might want to talk to ole braniac on that one." She wiped her fore head. "Sure is warm out there, let me get out of this sweat suit and into more comfortable clothing. What you up too?" She asked. "Well I was going to eat breakfast on the beach so I was going to ask-" I began "Ahhh got you. Aww that's should be romantic." She winked. "But not too romantic we already have two kids running around here." I blushed and hid my face. Rouge had a child last spring. Her name is Ruby, of course and she is a mix with both of them, like a hybrid. "Well see ya after that Ames maybe we can go shopping." Her eyes turned into dollar signs and she walked away.

"No I did not lose this time!" i heard knuckles yelled. "Actually Knuckles you did. Clearly Cream beat you at blackjack. She beat all of us." Lucian said. I opened the door to the game room. "Black jack? Right now?" I asked. "That's what I said sis, but you gotta admit it's an addicting game. Even Cream getting in on it." Rosetta said. "Well now I'm going to to get breakfast." Cream said leaving the cards table. "Same" Rosetta and Tails said at the same time and I smiled at them. "Best 2 out of 3" Lucian said placing his bet. "You're on." I laughed and went the opposite way to his room.

I continued down the stairs and saw Sliver, Blaze, and Alicia going to the direction of the kitchen. "Me!Me!"Alicia said mispronouncing my name. "Hey there niece." I said patting her head. "Sup Amy." Blaze said cradling Alicia in her arms. "Morning guys what you up to." "Just some breakfast, then I'm taking Blaze out hiking through the mountains." Sliver said. "If and only if Rosetta doen't need me to babysit Alicia." She said. "We have mountains near here?" I asked. "Not exactly, we're using the P.S system to go to the ice barren planet. They have some wicked mountains,  Imma take that fraidy cat to the top." Sliver said. "Then Imaa take his scared self snowboarding." She said glaring at him. He shrugged and Alicia began to get slightly aggravating since they stopped. "Nom nom!" She huffed. "Someone's hungry." I said and waved to them while they went to the kitchen.

I made it to his door and knocked on it timidly. I don't get it but I can still be shy around him.The door swung open. "Yeah Ames?" "Sonic? What are you doing here?" I asked. "Well I live in this palace and often living in such a grand place requires a room for many individuals. To keep it crispy, this is my room. Casa De Mine." He said jokingly. "Sorry for that I didn't mean to intrude." i said walking away. "No you're fine you can intrude all you want. I really don't mind, He stepped out and came closer to me. "We haven't spent a lot of time together lately, I would like too." He said. "Yeah just been busy.'' I said looking away from his face. " I don't like the,"He paused for a minute as if he was thinking of a word."Separation between us Ames. I missed my really good friend. And if I may recall when you were younger something about being my future girlfriend was in order." He gently grabbed my hand. "And I kinda like that future." He paused and gently hugged me. "His room is down the hall to the right, not this one to the left." He whispered in my ears. " See you at breakfast." He let go and waved. 

I finally made it to his room and was about to knock, when th door flew open. "Ahh it's you. I was just about to come see you again. But since you're here let's go to the beach." He said taking my hand. ''The beach?" I said questionably. "Yes I was wondering if we could have breakfast there, spend some time together before we start the day." He held my hand and was there in shock. He looked down at me and I smiled. "You're just too great Shadow the Hedgehog." I poked his noes softly. "I know." he kissed my noes. "And you're just too perfect,"

Yup this is my life right now. Good family and friends. A rough beginning but it has been great since the day of the Red Sky War, as the officials call it. I was scared they would through me out but no one was really mad at me. Especially since I brought everyone back to life. Everyone but Solar and my grandma. I sighed. "What's wrong?" Shadow asked with concern. "Nothing just tired." I knew i shouldn't lie but he got the hint I didn't really wanna talk about it. "So, I hope you got an appetite, my Rose because I had the chefs made this one special,and just for us." He said, as we finally made it to the grand entrance. "What's so special?" I asked giving him my puppy dogs eyes. He mirked and leaned down to my ears."I asked for extra strawberries." I giggled and gently pushed him away. He held me closer. Ahh what a morning so far.
