I sate on my bed later that night. The rest of the day was pretty boring, some healing and some meetings. The usual. But as usual, I felt stressed and paranoid for who knows what. I felt that way ever since I became the official ruler and I do to like it. It must just be a leader thing which I'm never used too. I was never a leader I was the leaded. I played with the him of my slick cream white gown. That's when Niko, my chao, plopped on my head. He really cute and I would assume still a baby because he's still needy of me like how he would be needy towards his mother.

There's was a slight knock in my door. "Come in." I said pulling Niko into my lap. "Evening Rose." He said sitting on the bed as he wrapped his hands around my waist. "Hello Shadow. " I said smiling as he began to massage my arms. "How is the princess doing this evening?" He asked gently kissing my cheek. "P-pretty well." I stuttered. I'm sure my face was red. He continued kissing down my cheek till he got to my neck. I smiled mostly out of embarrassment and turned to look at him. "What are you doing." I asked obviously knowing what he was doing. "I'm just tasting my Rose,"He sucked on my neck and began to hold my hands. Until someone bit his fingers. "Ahh Fuck ow!!" He jumped back and Niko still had his mouth on his finger. I quickly pulled him off, and cradled him until he fell asleep. "Damn Chao." He growled and waved his finger around. I giggled,and put Niko in a hamock by the window I made him. "Calm down you're acting like a baby." I crawled on the bed next to him. "I'm not. That thing you called a pet needs to be either tamed or thrown back into the wild." He retorted. "Whatever baby." I said. He frowned and then jumped on top of me. He grabbed my arms and put them over my head. "H-Hey What are you doing."

He ignored my question and went back to my neck. Instead of kissing he gently bit my neck. Not for pain but pleasure. "You're my baby.." He whispered and lifted up my gown up to my waist. He kept on hand gripping on mine,still and used the other one to rub my legs. "I really, want you Rose." He slid down my painties and continued biting and sucking my neck. Of course Rosetta was up. Even as a mother she argued she should still be a guard. At first I was against it but she assured me she'd be fine. Plus she's my older sister so I can't say much to her. "Ah Amy how are you this morning." Pretty well actually, and pretty hungry." I admitted."Perfect timing then I'll have the chefs prepare something for us while we discuss the ongoing issue concerning the "proper" title. She air quoted and I knew what she meant. She means technically I'm not the queen. Not unless I marry for a king. We sat on the Terrance and she looked at the village square. "You're people need a proper kingdom. And I know you love him. However we can't continue the fact that we have no king. Grandma ruling does count because grandpa eventually passed. But the fact is there was a king. There needs to either be or was king here." She said sipping on her tea. "I know Rosetta and trust me I want him to ask me but the thing is every time I bring it up with Shadow he always replies with the same thing. "I love you Rose but marriage is a big step." He hasn't given me a definite yes or no yet. He's been avoiding every way to give me a yes or no." I sighed and took a sip of my tea. "Why can't you be the queen. You already married and have an heir to the thrown." She brushed he short hair behind her ear. "Because Amy I am not fit to be a queen. Grandma saw it through her visions. If I were to be queen I would make a bad mistake. I'm 335 years old. 35 years in Earth years. And in those years I made a lot of mistakes and accidents. Plus a hell of a lot of people don't forget em. From accidentally burning the village square to the hay incident," she shuddered. "I'm just to corky when it comes to royalness and it just wasn't for my future. I'm content with being a general. It's my normality." She laughed. Plus the crown looks better on your head anyway." We continued small parts of this conversation but the same thing kept coming up. Ask him.

Eventually Alicia came up to us wanting to play with her mother. It was only about 10:30 and Shadow should be up right now. I walk quickly to my room and I noticed he wasn't in the bed where I left him. I heard the shower going. I smiled a bit then Niko came flying towards my face. He kissed my noes and I giggled. "You're doing better." He squealed and followed me to my balcony. "If you're hungry there's a chao tree with chao fruit. Cream made tended them, throughout the season, so they should be ripe." He had already left after I got done saying fruit. "Smart Rose getting rid of him." I jumped and turned around. Shadow was there in his spants and shirt but his shirt was open exposing his toned chest. I blushed a little. "He needs to eat proper chao food." He hugged me from behind. "Right. Last night was pretty amazing." He brought me really close. "It's always amazing with you, I can't believe I get to spend my life with you." I looked up at him. "Would you make it offical?" I asked with hopes and dreams appereaing in my eyes. He looked away from me. "Rose... you know how I feel about this topic.'' I sighed and left his embrace. '' It's not that I don't love you, Its just huge step-'' I cut him off. ''I know Shadow, but are we ever or is this it.'' I asked and he didn't even look me in the eyes. ''Guess I got my answer huh.'' I walked out of the room and decided to spill my guts out with one of my friends.
