Ch 8 - Experimentation Part 1

You wake up with Charlotte cuddling against you. You knew that you weren't together but it still felt nice and knew that you probably couldn't take Ichika's place. You slowly sit up causing Charlotte to stir and eventually wake up. Once you both were awake, you take a shower first and relax your body and try to ease your state of mind because you knew what was happening today. You weren't going to lie to yourself. You were nervous about the upcoming experiments. After Charlotte was done with her shower, she walked to the labs with you and decide to stay by your side for the day. The school was given the day off because Miss Orimura thought is was best for the first day of experiments to have the staff observe and give feedback if they saw anything that needed to be addressed during the experiments. Of course everyone that was your friend lend-ed support and was going to stay by your side but Charlotte was the only one that was going to be in the room while the experiments were going on. Once you both reached the labs, you saw some of the staff already in nurse and doctor outfits. When you fully stepped inside the room everyone's attention turned towards you.

"Ahh. Perfect timing (L/N). Do you mind laying down on the table? We will of course be strapping you down just as a precaution." Miss Orimura says.

You walk up to the table and look back at Charlotte. She nods her head in support and you lay down on the table. The doctors moved quickly and efficiently strapping you down. They brought a few machines over and slowly removed certain articles of clothing when necessary to attach wires to you. They wanted to monitor your health as the experiments were happening just in case something happened. Eventually the only article you had left was your boxers. You had wires just covering about your entire body. One of the nurses pulls out a needle and slow slides it into your arm. The needle had a clear liquid that went through it into your arm and slowly you started to lose feeling in your body. You could still move but had to make sure by looking at what part of your body you tried to move.

"We are giving some medication that is to numb your body so you won't feel any pain." Miss Orimura says.

You nod your head as they start to slowly inject needles with a pink tint to the liquid in you. All of a sudden you were passed out.

When you came to your senses, you realized you were in a dream. You were inside your house with your parents. You were doing your studies like you usually did. All of a sudden there is a loud bang and flames start rising up on the outside of the house showing through the windows. Your father picks you up in a rush and carries you outside. After your father sets you down on the ground, he rushes back in to save your mother. You could hear your father screaming your mother's name, when all of a sudden the house collapses in on itself killing both of them. All you could do is scream for them.

---Meanwhile in reality---

"What the hell is going on?!" Miss Orimura yells.

"It seems his subconscious has taken over and whatever is going on inside his mind, is causing him to go into convulsions." one of the doctors said.

"Get him awake right now! The shock could kill him!" Miss Orimura yells.

The doctors start injecting you with needles filled of a bluish liquid to counter the sleep effect of the pink liquid.

---Back to dream state---

All of a sudden you feel like you are on fire while screaming. Your mind breaks and you end up waking up screaming.

---Back to reality---

You wake up thrashing feeling like your body is on fire.

"Calm down (F/N)" you hear a sweet voice right next to you.

You brace your teeth and get the pain under control with help from the voice that you eventually realize belongs to Charlotte. Your forehead was covered with sweat from the nightmare.

"Get him off of there and into a chair. We need to help get him cleaned up." Miss Orimura barks to the doctors.

"Why do they need to clean me up?" you ask.

"Well you started having convulsions and ended up biting the inside of your cheek and your tongue causing you to bleed. You kept spitting up blood on yourself." Charlotte says.

You look down and notice that you are covered in blood. When you look up and look around the room, you see your friends with a scared look on their faces.
