for some reason awsten hasn't done anything to me, yet, it's gonna happen sooner or later. and everyone is just going to laugh, like always.

i'm walking down the hall to my next class, when instead of awsten shoving me, it was his friends. they were laughing and saying

"awsten are you gonna help?", he just gave a dry laugh and mumbled a quiet "sure" before coming over and shoving me to the locker, he didn't have that same smile he usually does when he does this stuff to me, instead, his eyes narrowed as if he were, guilty? no, that can't be it! he's gotta be bored or something, maybe something happened at home? no, stop. hanna, no. suddenly i let some words slip out.

"aren't you going to smile" i ask him, without even thinking. god, why am i his dumb. he looks at me and growls, "why should you care, go fuck a poster or something." his friends stood behind him and laughed, like always. i have to admit, they're quite cute, but major grade A assholes.

"geoff, otto, let's go, this sad bitch is ruining the fun." he laughs, they all walk away with their heads held high. suddenly, brendon and ryan are mext to me, holding their hands out for me to get up.

"thanks" i whisper, they just smile and say it's no problem, i smiled back at them, it was genuine, i actually smiled. wow. they were so nice to me, why?

"so, you like twenty one pilots?" ryan asks me, while his arm is slung around one of my shoulders and brendon's is over the other.

"yeah, i do, they're really good!" brendon laughed as we continued walking to the front doors of the school, they aren't trying to make me skip with them, are they?

"hey uhh, where are we-" i began to ask, but ryan cut me off.

"we're gonna take you for some lunch, to get your mind off of things." he smiled a great big smile and brendon hummed saying a soft, yup. these boys are already help ease the pain, i have a feeling we're going to be great friends.
