i look at augustus.
he looks so sick... but i still love him .
" hello hazel grace " he says weakly
" Augustus ... y-you almost died " I finally say.
"yeah, but i'm alright now... the cancer is gone " he smiles.
" really ?! " i almost shout.
"yeah" he says. "hazel grace-" he scoots over to the side of his hospital bed , " lay down next to me "
i realize i'm still standing by the door . i walk over to the bed and lay down . he turns around so he faces me .
"i love you , hazel grace " he says warmly .
" i love you , augustus waters " i say back .
after a little while of cuddling , talking , and kissing , i fall asleep .
