Chapter 3

Adam's POV

What do I do? What do I do? Was all I could think at that moment because I can't believe I had walked away from her Jesus Christ I'm stupid. I could've asked if she was okay, or if she were hurt. I guess I'll check up on her later to see if she's alright. All my friends did was stare at me like I'm a looney. "What guys, is there something wrong." I said to them. "Something wrong, have you gone mad" Katrina said. Ace kind of looked at Katrina weirdly "Kate calm down obviously Adam has an explanation, though I don't see why you're fussing over what he did." I figured I have to give them a reason why I did what I had done, so I started with "she's my mate." Their faces was quite funny their jaws have dropped so fall to the ground. "Congratulations man we're proud of you, what took so long?" Ace said though Katrina's face look one of anger and disappointment, when we were little she had hoped that she would be my mate. Before I had a chance to reply to them I smelled my mate near me and I turned she looked magnificent and she started nervously talking "Thank you Adam for what you did back there I appreciate it." She walked away before I could say anything to her. I turned to look at my friends and Ace was the only one who looked like he supported me and was silently encouraging me. So I did something that made my wolf happy  I turned around a ran to her and yelled "wait." I had no idea what I was going to say but she looked surprised I stoped her. "Your welcome" my voice sounded husky but I had nothing else to say. I can't help it she makes me speechless and by the way she licks those perfect lips of hers she's about to end up back on a wall. Oh man I better stop this train of thought because I might need a cold shower. What got me out of daydreaming her was the slight pink blush on her tinted cheeks. I forgot that I've just been starring at her with a happy smile, dear Christ I probably look like a murderer this ain't good oh man I better say something. "Wanna hang out with me or I mean us at lunch" I somehow coughed that sentence out. I waited for an answer but she seemed to be surprised. So I said "will that be a yes then" hopping that it was, I just left her there standing in shock.

 
Adeline's POV

Umm I guess I'm going to lunch with the bad boys of the school. Omg I feel like I gotta tell someone, but them I look around and realize I don't have any friends. Sighing I remember that the bell already rang and I was late. Ooh dear I've never been late in my life and if the school calls the House our step parents are going to kill me. I'm in deep shit with that thought in mind I ran all the way to History class. When I got there I forgot that Adam was in that class also, and if we were to both enter at the same time it'll look like we WERE together. Embarrassed I look at him and he looked at me then that little shit opened the door and it interrupted the class. We slowly walked in the room and the teacher started speaking "why are the two of you late?" I didn't know what t say instead Adam spoke up and said "sir, I was driving my way to school when I saw Adeline on the side of the road because her transmission went out, so I thought why not take her to school." The teacher looked satisfied and said "alright I'll let you go this one time if the both of you  are late again I'll have no other choice but to give you a detention." "Yes sir" we both said and took our seats opposite of the room, and cue the boring lecture.
